Utilizing a classroom action research framework, the investigation was conducted over two cycles, incorporating planning, action, observation, evaluation, and reflection phases. It involved 30 students and used observational sheets for monitoring teacher and student activities, along with multiple-choice and essay questions to assess students' scientific literacy. The findings revealed a notable enhancement in both teaching methods and student learning outcomes, facilitated by the LKPD usage. Specifically, teacher performance improved from achieving 80% of the set criteria in the first cycle to 90% in the second, upgrading their rating from 'Good' to 'Very Good'. This improvement was paralleled by a rise in students' average scores from 85.33 to 90.58, indicating a heightened engagement with and comprehension of biotechnological principles. The employment of LKPDs proved critical not just for expanding knowledge but for the practical application of scientific concepts, as demonstrated by an average literacy score of 88. Furthermore, an uplift in the average scientific literacy score from 76.59 in the first cycle to 84.89 in the second emphasizes the significance of LKPDs in enhancing students' grasp of scientific theories. Overall, the interventions across the cycles successfully elevated the caliber of teaching, enriched the student learning experience, and significantly improved science literacy, thus contributing to an enhancement in educational quality
Irma Utu Ngaji, Baiq Mirawati, Desi Ratnasari, Ahmad Aris Arifin, Surya Fajri Copyright (c) 2023 Irma Utu Ngaji, Baiq Mirawati, Desi Ratnasari, Ahmad Aris Arifin https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-sa/4.0 https://journal-center.litpam.com/index.php/RJ/article/view/1733 Fri, 01 Dec 2023 00:00:00 +0000 Augmented Reality in Education: A Meta-Analysis Of (Quasi-) Experimental Studies to Investigate the Impact https://journal-center.litpam.com/index.php/RJ/article/view/1831
The objective of this study is to thoroughly examine the influence of AR on educational achievements by amalgamating findings from (quasi) experimental investigations. This study constitutes a meta-analysis approach, which involves analyzing previous research statistically. Specifically, it focuses on 15 articles meeting the determined criteria for data inclusion in this meta-analysis, encompassing: 1) Research Methodology: Restricted to studies carried out via experimental or quasi-experimental designs, 2) Pertinence to Research Variables: Emphasizing research directly investigating AR's impact on educational achievements, 3) Indexing: Inclusion of publications indexed by reputable databases like SINTA, DOAJ, Copernicus International, or Scopus. Statistical Measurements: Encompassing studies providing relevant statistical metrics ('r' and 't') concerning the relationship between the variables studied. The outcomes demonstrate that the evidence indicates a beneficial effect of AR in augmenting educational outcomes. This deduction is drawn from a considerable average estimated Effect Size (1.231) alongside an exceedingly low p-value (< 0.001), denoting a highly significant statistical association between AR and heightened educational achievements. Although the collective findings strongly support AR's advantageous impact on various educational aspects, further research is imperative to address acknowledged limitations and optimize the potential of AR technology in enhancing educational achievements, motivation, and engagement across diverse educational settings and student cohorts.
Hunaepi Hunaepi, A.A Istri Agung Rai Sudiatmika, Wirawan Fadly Copyright (c) 2023 Hunaepi Hunaepi, A.A Istri Agung Rai Sudiatmika, Wirawan Fadly https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-sa/4.0 https://journal-center.litpam.com/index.php/RJ/article/view/1831 Fri, 01 Dec 2023 00:00:00 +0000 Improving Students' Science Process Skills through PjBL learning assisted by collaborative project LKPD https://journal-center.litpam.com/index.php/RJ/article/view/1849
This research aims to enhance students' science process skills in static electricity through the implementation of Project-Based Learning (PjBL) model aided by Collaborative Project Worksheets.
