Literasi Informasi Kesehatan: Penyuluhan Informasi dalam Pencegahan Isu Hoaks Vaksinasi Covid-19 di Sosial Media bagi Pelajar SMK di Jawa Barat

Literasi informasi Kesehatan dilakukan untuk memberi solusi dari persoalan yang dihadapi oleh siswa dan siswi SMK di Jawa Barat yang mengakses internet dengan tujuan untuk mendapatkan informasi, agar tidak terpapar informasi hoaks vaksinasi Covid-19. Pengabdian ini dilakukan dengan menggunakan metode workshop melalui penyuluhan informasi dalam pencegahan isu hoaks vaksinasi Covid-19 di sosial media. Kegiatan ini dilaksanakan secara luring. Ada 42 (empat puluh dua) siswa SMK yang mengikuti secara penuh kegiatan ini. Berdasarkan rangkaian kegiatan yang telah dilakukan, siswa dan siswi SMK Rancaekek merasa sangat terbantu dengan kegiatan yang dilakukan, terutama dengan pemberian penyuluhan terkait literasi informasi kesehatan. Pengabdi menemukan, selama ini banyak terdapat siswa dan siswi yang masih kesulitan menyaring informasi fakta dan hoaks terkait vaksinasi Covid-19 dikarenakan kurangnya literasi informasi Kesehatan. Setelah dilakukan workshop literasi informasi Kesehatan dalam pencegahan isu hoaks vaksin Covid-19, siswa dan siswi dapat memilah informasi fakta dan hoaks, selain itu siswa dan siswi SMK Pasundan Rancaekek dapat mengetahui cara mencegah adan menanggulangi isu hoaks vaksinasi Covid-19.
Health Information Literacy: Information Counseling in Preventing the Issue of Covid-19 Vaccination Hoaxes on Social Media for Vocational High School Students in West Java
Health information literacy is carried out to provide solutions to problems faced by SMK students in West Java who access the internet with the aim of obtaining information, so as not to be exposed to hoax information about the Covid-19 vaccination. This service is carried out using the workshop method through information counseling in preventing the issue of Covid-19 vaccination hoaxes on social media. This activity is carried out offline. There were 40 (forty two) SMK students who fully participated in this activity. Based on the series of activities that have been carried out, students at SMK Rancaekek feel very helped by the activities carried out, especially by providing counseling related to health information literacy. The servant found that so far there have been many students who still have difficulty sifting through factual and hoax information related to the Covid-19 vaccination due to a lack of health information literacy. After holding a health information literacy workshop in preventing the issue of Covid-19 vaccine hoaxes, students can sort out factual and hoax information. In addition, students at Pasundan Rancaekek Vocational School can find out how to prevent and deal with the issue of Covid-19 vaccination hoaxes.
