Metode yang dilakukan adalah sosialisasi tatap muka, paparan secara online dan diskusi grup komunitas di media sosial. Jumlah mitra yang terlibat 21 orang wanita dari kelompok PKK (Pemberdayaan Kesejahteraan Keluarga) di Desa Giri Mekar, Ujung Berung, Bandung. Pada kegiatan sosialisasi tersebut para peserta melakukan praktek membuat ekoenzim. Sedangkan penyampaian paparan secara online dan media sosial dilakukan untuk mencapai target responden dari generasi muda dan masyarakat umum dengan jumlah peserta lebih banyak (524 responden). Responden terdiri dari 82,3% wanita dan 17,7% pria. Angket penjaringan data menunjukkan bahwa masyarakat mengetahui tentang limbah organik (92,4%), ekoenzim (52,9%); kebermanfaatan ekoenzim untuk pupuk (64,1%); dan untuk lain-lain (44,8%). Hasil ini menunjukkan bahwa masih ada masyarakat yang belum melakukan daur ulang sampah organic menjadi ekoenzim. Walaupun sosialisasi ekoenzim terus dilakukan oleh para relawan melalui beberapa metoda.</p> <p><strong><em>Promoting Ecoenzymes Based on Organic Waste to Increase Awareness in Protecting the Environment</em></strong></p> <p><em>The purpose of this service activity is to socialize about recycling organic waste into eco enzymes to collect data about public awareness of organic waste and the benefits of eco enzymes among the community. The methods used are face-to-face socialization, online exposure, and community group discussions on social media. The number of partners involved was 21 women from the PKK (Family Welfare Empowerment) group in Giri Mekar Village, Ujung Berung, Bandung. In the socialization activity, the participants practiced making eco enzymes. Its use online and social media is carried out to reach the target respondents from the younger generation and the general public with a larger number of participants (524 respondents). Respondents consisted of 82.3% women and 17.7% men. The survey data shows that the public knows about organic waste (92.4%), eco enzymes (52.9%); the usefulness of eco enzymes for fertilizers (64.1%); and for others (44.8%). These results indicate that there are still people who have not recycled organic waste into eco enzymes. Langkah-langkah kegiatan persiapan program, perancangan pembelajaran, penyusunan buku pedoman, pembuatan video, koordinasi program, sosialisasi program, evaluasi program. Pelatihan ini diikuti oleh 35 peserta dari guru guru Bahasa Inggris SMP se MGMP Kabupaten Mojokerto. Metode pelaksanaan pelatihan ini adalah dengan pendampingan dan ceramah tentang konsep PTK yang dilakukan dengan daring menggunakan <em>zoom, whatsapp</em>, dan email. Berdasarkan hasil pendampingan, terdapat 6 proposal yang sudah di beri catatan dari Tim pelaksana untuk direvisi dan dikembalikan dalam waktu 1 minggu setelah pelaksanaan kegiatan. 29 peserta yang belum melakukan pendampingan proposalnya beri kesempatan untuk konsultasi melalui whatsapp atau email. Hasil peserta dapat mengidentifikasi kesalahan yang dibuat oleh peserta dalam proposal para peserta dan memberikan pembetulan terhadap kesalahan tersebut, misalnya kesalahan pada judul yang tidak mencerminkan karakteristik PTK, pendahuluan yang tidak focus pada masalah dalam kelas, dan metode penelitian yang tidak ditulis dan dijabarkan secara sistematis dan adanya kesalahan konsep tentang data dan sumber data, dan prosedur pengumpulan data.</p> <p><strong><em>Classroom Action Research Proposal Writing Training for Middle School English teachers in Mojokerto Regency MGMP</em></strong></p> <p><strong><em> </em></strong><em>The objective of the Community Service Program is to provide training to English teachers throughout Mojokerto Regency MGMP on the systematics of writing classroom action research proposals (CAR). This training was attended by 35 participants from junior high school English teachers throughout Mojokerto Regency MGMP. The method of implementing this training is with mentoring and lectures on the concept of CAR which are carried out online using zoom, WhatsApp, and email. Based on the results of the assistance, there are 6 proposals that have been noted from the implementation team to be revised and returned within 1 week after the implementation of the activity. 29 participants who have not assisted their proposals, give them the opportunity to consult via WhatsApp or email. Fokus pendampingan LSLC adalah bagimana aktivitas siswa belajar di kelas dan hasil belajar siswa. Hal ini terkait dengan rencana pelaksanaan pembelajaran (RPP) yang dibuat oleh guru. Pendampingan LSLC di Sekolah Menengah Atas Muhammadiyah 1 (SMAM 1) Kepanjen bertujuan untuk meningkatkan pembelajaran berkualitas dan menyenangkan dengan memperhatikan kemerdekaan belajar bagi peserta didik dalam merancang RPP 1 lembar. Dengan demikian dari tahap plan, do, dan see terbentuk komunitas belajar antara guru dengan guru, dan antar peserta didik</p> <p><em> </em><strong><em>Assistance for Lesson Study For Learning Community as an Embodiment of Independent Learning at SMA Muhammadiyah Kepanjen, Malang Regency</em></strong></p> <p><em> </em><em>Lesson Study for Learning Community (LSLC) is teacher development to improve the quality of learning collaboratively, with the stages of the plan, do and see. In the see stage, it is used to redesign the findings from the do. The focus of LSLC assistance is how students learn in class and student learning outcomes, this is related to the lesson plans (RPP) made by the teacher. The LSLC mentoring at Muhammadiyah 1 Senior High School (SMAM 1) Kepanjen aims to improve quality and fun learning by paying attention to learning independence for students by designing 1 sheet of lesson plans. The steps of the activities carried out were holding a concept workshop on the LSLC, Assistance in the preparation of 1 sheet learning device planning, implementation of the LSLC-based 1 sheet lesson plan with classroom learning, and the application of Biology learning reflection with 1 sheet lesson plan and dissemination. Setahun belakangan kompleksitas ini ditambah dengan fenomena global pandemi <em>corona virus</em>. Siswa dan guru di sekolah khususnya untuk mata pelajaran IPA dan Biologi telah terpengaruh secara signifikan karena kegiatan praktikum tidak bisa dilaksanakan secara langsung di laboratorium atau di lapangan. Permasalahan yang sama juga dirasakan khususnya di wilayah Jawa Tengah dikarenakan sampai saat ini masih memberlakukan pembatasan kegiatan. Padahal materi pada mata pelajaran IPA dan Biologi di sekolah membutuhkan kegiatan praktikum. Salah satu solusi untuk permasalahan ini adalah laboratorium virtual yang memungkinkan siswa melakukan eksperimen secara mandiri. Dengan melihat permasalahan ini, maka kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk mengenalkan metode praktikum virtual dengan sasaran guru SD dan SMP pengampu mata pelajaran IPA dan Biologi se Jawa Tengah dengan tema Ekologi Populasi Serangga Metode <em>Capture Recapture</em>. Kegiatan berbasis daring menggunakan dua <em>platform</em> yaitu <em>Zoom</em> dan <em>Schoology</em>. Kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ini memberikan pengalaman baru bagi guru pendamping mata pelajaran IPA dan Biologi terutama yang mengajar tema ekologi untuk mengembangkan metode praktikum estimasi populasi hewan motil secara simulasi dan dapat dilakukan oleh siswa secara mandiri. In the past year, this complexity has been added to the global phenomenon of the coronavirus pandemic. Students and teachers in schools, especially for science and biology subjects, have been significantly affected because practicum activities cannot be carried out directly in the laboratory or in the field. The same problem is also felt, especially in the Central Java region because until now there are still restrictions on activities. Even though the material in science and biology subjects at school requires practical activities. One solution to this problem is a virtual laboratory that allows students to conduct experiments independently. By looking at this problem, this community service activity aims to introduce a virtual practicum method targeting elementary and junior high school teachers who are teaching science and biology subjects throughout Central Java with the theme of Insect Population Ecology Capture-Recapture Method. Online-based activities use two platforms, namely Zoom and Schoology. This community service activity provides a new experience for teachers of science and biology subjects, especially those who teach the theme of ecology to develop a practical method of estimating the population of motile animals in a simulation and can be done by students independently. Peserta dalam kegiatan pelatihan ini merupakan pegawai di PT Lazuardy Global Service yang sebelumnya diobservasi dan diwawancarai untuk pemetaan kebutuhan Bahasa Inggris berdasarkan level kemampuan. Pelatihan ini dilaksanakan dengan tatap muka dengan menggunakan metode observasi, wawancara, ceramah, workshop, dan simulasi. Hasil kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ini menunjukkan bahwa pelatihan ini mampu meningkatkan pemahaman serta keterampilan kosakata bahasa Inggris peserta. Hal ini terlihat dari motivasi dan antusiasme peserta terhadap pembelajaran Bahasa Inggris yang meningkat setelah kegiatan pelatihan ini dilaksanakan. Berdasarkan hasil observasi selama pelatihan, materi yang disajikan dengan menggunakan game interaktif ini terbukti berhasil menciptakan suasana dimana para peserta dapat berkomunikasi Bahasa Inggris secara aktif, interaktif, dan komunikatif. Oleh karena itu, penggunaan game interaktif selama pembelajaran Bahasa Inggris disarankan untuk dapat diaplikasikan di berbagai situasi formal maupun tidak formal karena terbukti disenangi oleh para pemelajar Bahasa Inggris.</p> <p><strong><em>In<strong>teracti</strong>ve Game-Based English Vocabulary Training for Employees at PT Lazuardy Global Service</em></strong></p> <p><em>Interactive Game-Based </em><em>Vocabulary</em><em> English Training is a community service activity with the aim to improve the English </em><em>vocabulary </em><em>skills of the participants. Participants in this training activity are employees at PT Lazuardy Global Service who were previously observed and interviewed for mapping English needs based on ability level. This training is carried out face-to-face using observation methods,</em><em> interviews,</em><em> lectures, workshops, </em><em>and </em><em>simulations. The results of this community service activity show that this training is able to improve the understanding and English </em><em>vocabulary </em><em>skills of participants. This is evident from the motivation and enthusiasm of participants towards English learning that increased after this training activity was carried out. Based on the results of observations during the training, the material presented using this interactive game proved successful in creating an atmosphere where participants can communicate English actively, interactively, and communicatively.
