Assistance in Structural Planning and Cost Estimation of Clean Water Supply System in Tigawasa Village
Abstract
The availability of clean water is a basic necessity that plays an important role in improving public health and quality of life. Tigawasa Village, located in Buleleng Regency, Bali, still faces limitations in clean water supply infrastructure due to the absence of adequate technical planning documents and construction cost estimates. This community service activity aims to assist the village government and community in preparing structural planning and cost estimation (Bill of Quantities) for a clean water supply system as a basis for village infrastructure development. The implementation method included field surveys, identification of partner needs, assistance in technical planning of water infrastructure, and training on construction cost estimation. The activity involved village officials and community representatives responsible for managing village water facilities. Data were obtained through field observations, participatory discussions, and technical analysis of structural planning. The results indicate an improvement in the partners’ understanding of clean water infrastructure planning and the preparation of structural design documents and cost estimates that can be used as references for the development of the village clean water supply system. This activity provides practical technical solutions and supports the village’s readiness to develop a sustainable clean water supply system.
