Abstract

Development of a Problem Based Learning (PBL) Based Teaching Module for Floor Gymnastics at SMK PGRI 3 Malang

Abstract

This study aims to develop a Problem Based Learning (PBL) based teaching module for floor gymnastics in class X at SMK PGRI 3 Malang. The ADDIE model (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation) was used to design and evaluate the module. The module was validated by media experts (97%), learning experts (87%), and content experts (77%). A field trial was conducted with 35 students divided into small and large groups. The small group achieved an average score of 79.75%, while the large group scored 80%, indicating that the module was well-received. The results showed that the PBL-based module effectively improved students' understanding of floor gymnastics techniques and increased student engagement. The module is valid and effective, with recommendations for further content adjustments to better align with student abilities and improvements in visual elements for better readability. The integration of multimedia and interactive features is also recommended to enhance the learning experience.
