Evaluasi Tingkat Keterampilan Gerak Dasar Siswa Sekolah Dasar Menggunakan Canadian Agility and Movement Skill Assessment (CAMSA) Score

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengevaluasi tingkat keterampilan gerak dasar siswa sekolah dasar menggunakan Canadian Agility and Movement Skill Assessment (CAMSA) Score. Penelitian ini melibatkan 51 siswa kelas V di SDN 29 Mataram yang dipilih dengan metode total sampling. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa sebagian besar siswa berada pada kategori progressing (45,10%), diikuti oleh kategori beginning (25,50%), achieving (19,60%), dan excelling (9,80%). Secara keseluruhan, siswa menunjukkan tingkat keterampilan gerak dasar yang cukup baik, meskipun terdapat perbedaan antara siswa laki-laki dan perempuan, dengan siswa laki-laki memiliki skor rata-rata lebih tinggi. Penelitian ini juga mengungkapkan bahwa usia 11 tahun memiliki keterampilan yang lebih baik dibandingkan dengan usia 10 tahun. Temuan ini menyoroti pentingnya pengembangan keterampilan gerak dasar pada usia sekolah dasar yang mendukung perkembangan fisik dan psikologis siswa. Rekomendasi untuk penelitian lanjutan adalah untuk mengeksplorasi faktor-faktor yang memengaruhi perbedaan keterampilan gerak dasar, seperti motivasi, dukungan keluarga, dan aktivitas fisik di luar sekolah.
Evaluation of Fundamental Movement Skills in Elementary School Students Using the Canadian Agility and Movement Skill Assessment (CAMSA) Score
Abstract
This study aims to evaluate the fundamental movement skills of elementary school students using the Canadian Agility and Movement Skill Assessment (CAMSA) Score. The study involved 51 fifth-grade students from SDN 29 Mataram, selected through total sampling. The results indicate that the majority of students were classified into the progressing category (45.10%), followed by the beginning category (25.50%), achieving category (19.60%), and excelling category (9.80%). Overall, students demonstrated a reasonable level of fundamental movement skills, with differences observed between boys and girls, as boys had higher average scores. The study also revealed that 11-year-olds had better movement skills compared to 10-year-olds. These findings emphasize the importance of developing fundamental movement skills during elementary school, supporting physical and psychological development. Future research is recommended to explore the factors influencing differences in fundamental movement skills, such as motivation, family support, and physical activity outside of school.
