Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui konflik sosial apa saja yang terkandung dalam Film Bumi Manusia Karya sastra merupakan hasil ekspresi kreatif manusia yang menggunakan bahasa sebagai medium utama untuk menyampaikan gagasan, perasaan, dan imajinasi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi bentuk-bentuk konflik sosial dalam film Bumi Manusia serta penyebab terjadinya konflik tersebut. Metode yang digunakan adalah deskriptif-kualitatif dengan pendekatan analisis representasi. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui observasi dan dokumentasi, dengan data primer berupa soft copy film Bumi Manusia dan data sekunder dari jurnal, buku, dan internet. Analisis data meliputi tahapan pengumpulan, penyajian, kondensasi data, serta penarikan/verifikasi kesimpulan. Uji keabsahan dilakukan melalui triangulasi dan kekuatan pengamat. Hasil penelitian menemukan tiga bentuk utama konflik sosial, konflik yaitu konflik antar individu (16 data), konflik politik (15 data), dan konflik antar kelompok (5 data). Bentuk konflik ketiga tersebut mencerminkan ketidakadilan sistem kolonial Hindia Belanda, seperti diskriminasi terhadap pribumi dan perempuan, memetik hukum, pertentangan nilai antargenerasi, dan ketimpangan sosial-politik. Tokoh-tokoh seperti Minke dan Nyai Ontosoroh menjadi simbol perjuangan rakyat pribumi dalam menghadapi dominasi kolonial serta ketegangan sosial di masa penjajahan.
