Analisis Energi, Ekonomi, dan Lingkungan pada Penerapan Sistem Combined Heat and Power (CHP) dan Absorption Chiller di Sektor Perhotelan

Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengevaluasi potensi penghematan energi primer, keuntungan ekonomi, dan dampak lingkungan dari penerapan sistem Combined Heat and Power (CHP) yang dikombinasikan dengan penyejuk absorpsi untuk pasokan energi di sebuah hotel yang terletak di Düsseldorf, Jerman. Analisis beban energi (listrik dan panas), simulasi operasi sistem dengan berbagai skenario modul CHP berbahan bakar minyak pemanas, dan perhitungan ekonomi dan emisi adalah semua metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa, dibandingkan dengan sistem konvensional (pemisahan produksi listrik dan panas), sistem CHP dapat menghemat energi primer hingga 37% dan emisi CO2 hingga 56,6%. Konfigurasi tiga modul CHP menghasilkan penghematan tahunan tertinggi sebesar €54.676,27 dengan periode pengembalian investasi yang menarik, menurut analisis ekonomi. Sistem ini sangat layak untuk diterapkan di industri perhotelan karena tidak hanya meningkatkan efisiensi energi secara signifikan tetapi juga memberikan keuntungan finansial dan kontribusi positif terhadap perlindungan lingkungan.
