Abstract
This study aims to improve student learning outcomes in Sociology through the application of the Student Teams Achievement Division (STAD) learning model assisted by Kahoot! media. This study is a type of Classroom Action Research (CAR) implemented in two cycles. Each cycle consists of three meetings covering four main stages, namely: planning, implementation of actions, observation, and reflection. Instruments used to collect data include observation sheets of teacher and student activities, learning outcome tests, and documentation of the learning process. The results of the study showed an increase in both the process and learning outcomes. The level of learning implementation with the STAD model assisted by Kahoot! reached 80% in cycle I and increased to 100% in cycle II. On the other hand, student learning outcomes also showed a significant increase, namely 53% of students completed learning in cycle I, and increased to 78% in cycle II, based on the criteria for achieving learning objectives (KKTP) that have been set. The application of the STAD learning model combined with the interactive media Kahoot! effective in increasing student engagement and learning outcomes in Sociology for grade XII F B1 of SMAN 2 Jonggat.
