Pengembangan Accordion Book Berbasis Eksperimen Sederhana Untuk Meningkatkan Pemahaman Konsep IPA Materi Perubahan Wujud Benda Siswa Kelas IV SD

Penelitian ini memiliki empat tujuan; (1) menghasilkan rancang bangun accordion book berbasis eksperimen sederhana, (2) mengidentifikasi validitas hasil pengembangan accordion book pengembangan accordion book berbasis eksperimen sederhana, (3) mengidentifikasi kepraktisan accordion book berbasis eksperimen sederhana, (4) menganalisis keefektifannya accordion book berbasis eksperimen sederhana terhadap pemahaman konsep IPA kelas IV SD. Pada penelitian ini menggunakan model pengembangan ADDIE dengan metode Pengumpulan data berupa pemberian angket dan tes. Metode analisis data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah analisis deskriptif kualitatif dan analisis deskriptif kuantitatif. Sedangkan efektivitas accordion book berbasis eksperimen sederhana diukur menggunakan desain one group pretest-posttest dengan melibatkan 33 siswa. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: (1) hasil validasi media memperoleh rerata 3,85 dari ahli materi dan 3,95 dari ahli media yang termasuk ke dalam kategori sangat baik, (2) kepraktisan accordion book diperoleh melalui penilaian respon guru, serta melalui respon siswa yang memperoleh nilai rerata persentase masing-masing sebesar 97,5% dan 98,7% sehingga kedua nilai tersebut termasuk ke dalam kategori sangat praktis, (3) hasil uji efektivitas menggunakan uji t berpasangan menunjukkan nilai signifikasi sebesar 0,000 kurang dari 0,05, yang berarti terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan antara pretes dan nilai postes setelah pemberian perlakuan menggunakan accordion book berbasis eksperimen sederhana. Dengan demikian, penggunaan accordion book berbasis eksperimen sederhana efektif meningkatkan pemahaman konsep IPA siswa kelas IV SD.
