Struktur Aljabar Linear dalam Transformasi Geometri: Kajian Berbasis Teori APOS

Penelitian ini bertujuan mengkaji penggunaan representasi matriks dan koordinat homogen dalam transformasi geometri analitik serta mengidentifikasi hambatan kognitif mahasiswa berdasarkan Teori APOS (Action, Process, Object, Schema). Kajian ini menggunakan metode studi literatur melalui analisis konseptual dan teoretis terhadap dua kasus transformasi geometri, yaitu rotasi kurva parabola dan komposisi transformasi afin bertingkat. Hasil kajian menunjukkan bahwa pendekatan konvensional masih cenderung menempatkan mahasiswa pada tahap prosedural (Action). Sementara itu, penggunaan representasi matriks dan koordinat homogen dapat membantu mahasiswa memahami transformasi secara lebih menyeluruh sehingga pemahaman konsep berpotensi berkembang menuju tahap Object dan Schema. Selain digunakan untuk merepresentasikan transformasi, koordinat homogen juga dapat menjadi alternatif pendekatan dalam menghubungkan konsep geometri dan aljabar linear yang selama ini sering dipelajari secara terpisah.
