Penerapan Model Problem Based Learning (PBL) Berbantuan Media Roda Berputar untuk Meningkatkan Kemampuan Berbicara Siswa Kelas III SDN 1 Gerunung

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh rendahnya kemampuan berbicara siswa kelas III SDN 1 Gerunung. Tujuan penelitian untuk mengetahui peningkatan kemampuan berbicara melalui penerapan model Problem Based Learning (PBL) berbantuan media roda berputar. Metode yang digunakan adalah Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) model Kemmis & McTaggart yang dilaksanakan dalam dua siklus. Subjek penelitian berjumlah 32 siswa. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan observasi, tes praktik lisan, dan dokumentasi. Analisis data dilakukan secara kuantitatif dan kualitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penerapan model PBL berbantuan media roda berputar dapat meningkatkan kemampuan berbicara siswa. Persentase ketuntasan belajar pada siklus I sebesar 47% (15 siswa tuntas) meningkat menjadi 85% (27 siswa tuntas) pada siklus II. Aktivitas guru meningkat dari kategori cukup (55%) menjadi sangat baik (88%), dan aktivitas siswa meningkat dari kategori cukup (54%) menjadi sangat baik (85%). Dengan demikian, model PBL berbantuan media roda berputar efektif meningkatkan kemampuan berbicara siswa kelas III SDN 1 Gerunung. Implikasi penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa model Problem Based Learning (PBL) berbantuan media roda berputar dapat dijadikan sebagai alternatif inovatif dalam pembelajaran bahasa Indonesia, khususnya untuk meningkatkan kemampuan berbicara siswa di jenjang sekolah dasar.
