Analisis Karakteristik Marshall Campuran Aspal HRS-WC Menggunakan Serbuk Bata Merah Sebagai Filler

Perkerasan jalan memerlukan campuran beraspal yang memiliki stabilitas dan durabilitas tinggi agar mampu menahan beban lalu lintas. Salah satu upaya untuk meningkatkan kualitas campuran sekaligus memanfaatkan limbah adalah penggunaan serbuk bata merah sebagai filler. Penelitian ini bertujuan menganalisis pengaruh variasi kadar serbuk bata merah terhadap karakteristik Marshall campuran Hot Rolled Sheet–Wearing Course (HRS-WC) serta menentukan kadar filler yang memenuhi Spesifikasi Umum Bina Marga 2018 Revisi 2. Penelitian menggunakan metode eksperimen di laboratorium dengan kadar aspal tetap sebesar 6% dan variasi kadar serbuk bata merah sebesar 2%, 3%, 4%, 5%, 6%, dan 7%. Parameter yang dianalisis meliputi Void in Mix (VIM), Void in Mineral Aggregate (VMA), Void Filled with Bitumen (VFB), stabilitas, flow, dan Marshall Quotient (MQ). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa peningkatan kadar serbuk bata merah menyebabkan nilai VIM, VFB, stabilitas, dan MQ cenderung meningkat, sedangkan nilai VMA dan flow cenderung menurun. Seluruh variasi kadar filler memenuhi persyaratan VMA, stabilitas, flow, dan MQ, sedangkan parameter VFB memenuhi persyaratan pada kadar 5%–7%, dan VIM belum memenuhi persyaratan pada seluruh variasi kadar filler. Berdasarkan hasil tersebut, serbuk bata merah berpotensi dimanfaatkan sebagai filler alternatif pada campuran HRS-WC karena mampu meningkatkan kekakuan dan stabilitas campuran, meskipun diperlukan pengendalian kadar filler agar karakteristik rongga campuran tetap memenuhi spesifikasi.
