Educational automotive workshop management combines asset control, tool lending, scheduling, documentation, and user accountability, whereas commercial workshop systems more often emphasize customer service and repair transactions. This fragmentation makes it difficult to formulate system requirements that fit educational automotive workshops. This review maps reported features, development approaches, implementation technologies, evaluation methods, and underrepresented requirement dimensions. Because the historical platform-specific search and screening logs were not completely available, the study is reported as a systematic evidence review informed by PRISMA 2020 and PRISMA-S principles rather than as a fully reproducible PRISMA-compliant systematic literature review. The synthesis includes 50 eligible publications: 23 on automotive/commercial workshops and 27 on educational workshops or laboratories. In the extraction matrix, inventory/asset functions were explicitly reported in 37/50 publications, service/transaction workflows in 22/50, loan-return and scheduling in 11/50 each, reporting/documentation in 10/50, maintenance/condition management in 5/50, and role/access control in 2/50. Among 46 primary development or implementation publications, Waterfall was the most frequently stated approach (15/46). Functional or black-box evaluation appeared in 17/50 publications, while ISO/IEC 25010, the System Usability Scale, User Acceptance Testing, TAM/UTAUT, and performance testing were much less common. No publication in the coded matrix simultaneously covered all six DTB-WIS dimensions. These findings support DTB-WIS as an evidence-informed requirement and evaluation framework for educational automotive workshops, while emphasizing the need for empirical validation with real users and operational outcome measures.
