Kelompok mahasiswa bidang minat pakan dan nutrisi hewan adalah sejumlah mahasiswa Fakultas Kedokteran Hewan Universitas Pendidikan Mandalika Mataram yang memiliki minat yang sama untuk mempelajari dan mempraktikkan lebih banyak, mengkaji lebih mendalam melalui berbagai kegiatan penelitian dan pengabdian kepada masyarakat dalam rangka menyampaikan berbagai aspek yang terkait dengan penyusunan ransum ternak itik. Metode bimbingan teknis yang digunakan adalah metode gelar teknologi (showcase technology), Hasil kajian menunjukkan perubahan pengetahuan tertinggi 79,31% jumlah peserta bimbingan teknis menyatakan mengetahui aplikasi atau program untuk menyusun formula ransum itik. Perubahan tertinggi 79,31% pada kemampuan menggunakan program penyusun formula ransum itik dan tidak terjadi perubahan sikap yang nyata pada peserta bimbingan teknis sebelum dan sesudah bimbingan teknis dilakukan. Simpulannya kegiatan bimbingan teknis penyusunan formula ransum itik berbasis bahan pakan lokal dengan menggunkan metode penyuluhan gelar teknologi dapat meningkatkan pengetahuan dan keterampilan serta telah merubah sikap peserta bintek dalam penyusunan formula ransum anak itik umur 0-2 minggu. Formula ransum anak itik umur 0-2 minggu tersebut menghasilkan formula dengan kandungan protein 21,3%, karbohidrat 49,9%, lemak 7,25% dan energi metabolis 3170 kcal dengan harga ransum Rp.5.250/kg telah memenuhi standar kebutuhan nutrisi pakan sesuai kebutuhan untuk anak itik umur 0-2 minggu dan tergolong pakan murah.
Technical Guidance on Compiling Duck Ration Formulas Based on Local Feed for FKH Undikma Students in the Field of Animal Feed & Nutrition
Abstract
The student group in the field of animal feed and nutrition is a number of students from the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine, Mandalika Mataram Education University who have the same interest in learning and practicing more, studying more deeply through various research activities and community service in order to convey various aspects related to the preparation of duck livestock rations. The technical guidance method used is the technology showcase method. The results of the study showed the highest change in knowledge, 79.31% of the number of technical guidance participants stated that they knew the application or program for preparing duck ration formulas. The highest change was 79.31% in the ability to use the duck ration formula preparation program and there was no real change in attitude in technical guidance participants before and after the technical guidance was carried out. The conclusion is that technical guidance activities for preparing duck ration formulas based on local feed ingredients using the technology showcase extension method can improve knowledge and skills and have changed the attitudes of bintek participants in preparing duck ration formulas aged 0-2 weeks. The ration formula for ducklings aged 0-2 weeks produces a formula with a protein content of 21.3%, carbohydrates 49.9%, fat 7.25% and metabolic energy 3170 kcal with a ration price of Rp.5,250/kg has met the standard nutritional needs of feed according to the needs of ducklings aged 0-2 weeks and is classified as cheap feed.
