Rendahnya hasil belajar gerak dasar lari, lompat, dan lempar pada siswa kelas III MI NW Batu Pengilik menunjukkan perlunya inovasi pembelajaran pendidikan jasmani yang lebih aktif, menyenangkan, dan kontekstual. Penelitian ini bertujuan meningkatkan hasil belajar gerak dasar atletik melalui penggunaan media outdoor education. Metode penelitian menggunakan Penelitian Tindakan Kelas yang dilaksanakan dalam dua siklus, dengan subjek 20 siswa kelas III. Data dikumpulkan melalui observasi aktivitas siswa, tes keterampilan gerak dasar, dan dokumentasi, kemudian dianalisis secara deskriptif kuantitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan peningkatan aktivitas siswa dari 70% pada siklus I menjadi 90% pada siklus II. Nilai rata-rata gerak dasar lari meningkat dari 55,5 menjadi 81,5; lompat dari 52,2 menjadi 79,8; dan lempar dari 51,25 menjadi 75,6. Seluruh siswa mencapai KKM pada siklus II. Penelitian menyimpulkan bahwa outdoor education efektif meningkatkan hasil belajar gerak dasar.

Improving Learning Outcomes in Basic Running, Jumping, and Throwing Skills through Outdoor Education Media for Elementary School Students

Abstract

The low learning outcomes in basic running, jumping, and throwing skills among third-grade students of MI NW Batu Pengilik indicate the need for more active, enjoyable, and contextual physical education learning. This study aimed to improve students’ basic athletic movement skills through the use of outdoor education media. The research employed Classroom Action Research conducted in two cycles, involving 20 third-grade students. Data were collected through student activity observation, basic movement skill tests, and documentation, and were analyzed using quantitative descriptive analysis. The results showed an increase in student activity from 70% in Cycle I to 90% in Cycle II. The average score for running improved from 55.5 to 81.5, jumping from 52.2 to 79.8, and throwing from 51.25 to 75.6. All students achieved the minimum mastery criterion in Cycle II. The study concludes that outdoor education effectively improves basic movement learning outcomes.
