Pemetaan Keterampilan Gerak Dasar Lokomotor Anak Usia 4–6 Tahun Menggunakan TGMD-2 di TK Bina Anaprasa

Penelitian ini bertujuan memetakan tingkat keterampilan gerak dasar lokomotor anak usia 4–6 tahun di TK Bina Anaprasa menggunakan subtes lokomotor Test of Gross Motor Development-2 (TGMD-2). Penelitian menggunakan desain deskriptif kuantitatif berbasis tes keterampilan. Sampel berjumlah 35 anak yang dipilih melalui total sampling. Instrumen mencakup enam keterampilan lokomotor, yaitu run, gallop, hop, horizontal jump, leap, dan slide, dengan skor performa 1 jika indikator gerak muncul dan 0 jika tidak muncul. Data dianalisis menggunakan statistik deskriptif berupa frekuensi, persentase, rerata, simpangan baku, nilai minimum, dan nilai maksimum. Hasil menunjukkan 60,0% anak berada pada kategori rata-rata, 25,7% di bawah rata-rata, 8,6% di atas rata-rata, dan 5,7% buruk. Temuan ini menunjukkan bahwa keterampilan lokomotor anak umumnya berada pada tingkat rata-rata, tetapi sebagian anak masih membutuhkan stimulasi gerak yang lebih terarah. Guru disarankan melaksanakan asesmen berkala dan permainan lokomotor terstruktur.
Mapping Locomotor Fundamental Movement Skills among Children Aged 4–6 Years Using TGMD-2 at TK Bina Anaprasa
Abstract
This study aimed to map the level of locomotor fundamental movement skills among children aged 4–6 years at TK Bina Anaprasa using the locomotor subtest of the Test of Gross Motor Development-2 (TGMD-2). A quantitative descriptive skill-test design was applied. The sample consisted of 35 children selected through total sampling. The instrument assessed six locomotor skills: run, gallop, hop, horizontal jump, leap, and slide, using performance scoring of 1 when a movement criterion was demonstrated and 0 when it was not. Data were analyzed using descriptive statistics, including frequency, percentage, mean, standard deviation, minimum score, and maximum score. The findings showed that 60.0% of children were in the average category, 25.7% below average, 8.6% above average, and 5.7% poor. These results indicate that most children’s locomotor skills were average, while some still required targeted motor stimulation. Teachers are advised to conduct periodic assessment and structured locomotor play activities.
