Peningkatan Ketepatan Shooting dan Passing melalui Latihan Wall Player pada Pemain Sepak Bola Putra U-17

Penelitian ini bertujuan menganalisis peningkatan ketepatan shooting dan passing pemain sepak bola putra U-17 Garuda Electric Dompu setelah mengikuti latihan Wall Player. Penelitian menggunakan desain one-group pretest–posttest dengan 15 pemain yang dipilih secara purposive. Instrumen penelitian berupa tes menembak bola ke sasaran dan tes passing–stopping selama 30 detik. Perlakuan diberikan dalam 16 sesi latihan. Data dianalisis menggunakan statistik deskriptif, uji normalitas, dan paired sample t-test. Hasil menunjukkan rerata shooting meningkat dari 55,72 menjadi 64,68, sedangkan rerata passing meningkat dari 9,60 menjadi 11,30. Uji t menunjukkan peningkatan signifikan pada shooting, t(14) = 4,136, p < 0,01, d = 1,07, dan passing, t(14) = 5,801, p < 0,001, d = 1,50. Latihan Wall Player berasosiasi dengan peningkatan ketepatan shooting dan passing, tetapi temuan perlu ditafsirkan hati-hati karena tidak ada kelompok kontrol.
Improving Shooting and Passing Accuracy through Wall Player Training among U-17 Male Football Players
Abstract
This study aimed to analyze improvements in shooting and passing accuracy among male U-17 soccer players at Garuda Electric Dompu after participating in Wall Player training. A one-group pretest–posttest design was employed with 15 players selected through purposive sampling. The instruments consisted of a target shooting test and a 30-second passing–stopping test. The intervention was conducted over 16 training sessions. Data were analyzed using descriptive statistics, normality testing, and paired sample t-tests. The results showed that mean shooting accuracy increased from 55.72 to 64.68, while mean passing accuracy increased from 9.60 to 11.30. The t-test indicated significant improvements in shooting, t(14) = 4.136, p < .01, d = 1.07, and passing, t(14) = 5.801, p < .001, d = 1.50. Wall Player training was associated with improved shooting and passing accuracy; however, the findings should be interpreted cautiously due to the absence of a control group.
