Pengaruh Latihan Standing Triple Jump dan Lateral Jump Over Barrier terhadap Kemampuan Smash Pemain Bola Voli

Penelitian ini bertujuan menganalisis pengaruh latihan Standing Triple Jump dan Lateral Jump Over Barrier terhadap kemampuan smash pemain bola voli Portema Masbagik. Penelitian menggunakan desain eksperimen pretest–posttest two-treatment design. Sampel berjumlah 20 pemain aktif yang dipilih melalui total sampling dan dibagi menjadi dua kelompok menggunakan ordinal pairing berdasarkan kemampuan awal smash. Kelompok pertama memperoleh latihan Standing Triple Jump, sedangkan kelompok kedua memperoleh latihan Lateral Jump Over Barrier selama 12 pertemuan. Instrumen penelitian menggunakan tes kemampuan smash bola voli. Data dianalisis dengan uji normalitas, homogenitas, paired sample t-test, dan independent sample t-test. Hasil menunjukkan Standing Triple Jump meningkatkan rerata smash dari 10,50 menjadi 12,00, p = 0,000, sedangkan Lateral Jump Over Barrier meningkat dari 10,90 menjadi 12,40, p = 0,002. Uji antarkelompok menunjukkan tidak ada perbedaan signifikan antara kedua latihan, p = 0,470. Kedua latihan dapat digunakan sebagai variasi plyometric untuk meningkatkan kemampuan smash.
The Effects of Standing Triple Jump and Lateral Jump Over Barrier Training on Volleyball Smash Ability
Abstract
This study aimed to analyze the effects of Standing Triple Jump and Lateral Jump Over Barrier training on volleyball smash ability among Portema Masbagik players. A pretest–posttest two-treatment experimental design was applied. The sample consisted of 20 active players selected through total sampling and divided into two balanced groups using ordinal pairing based on initial smash ability. The first group received Standing Triple Jump training, while the second group received Lateral Jump Over Barrier training over 12 sessions. Smash ability was measured using a volleyball smash performance test. Data were analyzed using normality tests, homogeneity tests, paired sample t-tests, and independent sample t-tests. The results showed that Standing Triple Jump increased mean smash score from 10.50 to 12.00, p = .000, while Lateral Jump Over Barrier increased it from 10.90 to 12.40, p = .002. Between-group testing showed no significant difference, p = .470. Both drills can be used as plyometric variations to improve volleyball smash ability.
