Kegiatan Penyuluhan Pengembangan Pertanian Organik Dalam Mendukung Ketahanan Pangan Di Desa Paok Pampang Kecamatan Sukamulia Kabupaten Lombok Timur

Secara umum kegiatan pengabdian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan pengetahuan petani tentang pengembangan pertanian organik dalam mendukung ketahanan pangan di Desa Paok Pampang. Sedangkan tujuan khususnya adalah: (1) Meningkatkan pengetahuan anggota kelompok tani tentang pengembangan pertanian organik dalam mendukung ketahanan pangan; (2) Menunjukkan kepada anggota kelompok tani jika pertanian organik adalah salah satu cara untuk menjaga keberlangsungan sistem pertanian; dan (3) Menjalin hubungan antara UNRAM dengan masyarakat. Pelaksanaan pengabdian dilakukan dengan metode andragogi yang dilakukan melalui penyuluhan dan pendampingan kepada kelompok tani. Dalam kegiatan pengabdian ini diikuti oleh sepuluh orang peserta yang merupakan anggota kelompok tani Bila Sundung. Hasil pelaksanaan kegiatan menunjukkan bahwa: (1) Kegiatan ini telah mampu meningkatkan pengetahuan dan ketrampilan peserta terutama yang berkaitan dengan aspek teknik dan aspek sosial ekonomi terutama terkait dengan peningkatan ekonomi masyarakat, khusunya petani di desa Paok Pampang dengan menggunakan pertanian organik, hal ini dapat dilihat dari jumlah pembelian pupuk organik yang mengalami peningkatan sebesar 43% di toko pertanian Pak Abas UD. Bila Sundung; (2) Respon anggota kelompok tani Bila Sundung terhadap kegiatan penyuluhan cukup tinggi yakni dengan persentase respon positif sebesar 100% dari 10 orang peserta; (4) Kegiatan ini juga telah ikut mendorong semakin intensifnya komunikasi timbal balik antara, UNRAM dengan masyarakat yang tergabung dalam kelompok tani Bila Sundung.
Extension Activities for Organic Agriculture Development in Support of Food Security in Paok Pampang Village, Sukamulia District, East Lombok Regency
In general, this service activity aims to increase farmers' knowledge about the development of organic farming in supporting food security in Paok Pampang Village. While the specific objectives are: (1) Increase the knowledge of farmer group members about the development of organic agriculture in supporting food security; (2) Show farmer group members that organic farming is one way to maintain the sustainability of the agricultural system; and (3) Establish a relationship between UNRAM and the community. The implementation of the service was carried out using the andragogy method which was carried out through counseling and mentoring to farmer groups. This service activity was attended by ten participants who were members of the Bila Sundung farmer group. The results of the implementation of the activity show that: (1) This activity has been able to increase the knowledge and skills of participants, especially those related to technical aspects and socio-economic aspects, especially those related to improving the community's economy, especially farmers in Paok Pampang village by using organic farming, this can be seen from the number of purchases of organic fertilizers which has increased by 43% at Pak Abas' farm shop UD. Bila Sundung; (2) The response of Bila Sundung farmer group members to the extension activities was quite high, with a positive response percentage of 100% of the 10 participants; (4) This activity has also helped encourage the intensification of mutual communication between UNRAM and the community who are members of the Bila Sundung farmer group.
