Peran UMKM Dalam Meningkatkan Ekonomi Masyarakat Desa Sibalaya Utara

Kegiatan ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis peran UMKM dalam meningkatkan kesejahteraan masyarakat Desa Sibalaya Utara, Kecamatan Tanambulava. Metode yang digunakan meliputi observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi untuk memahami kondisi lapangan, serta pelaksanaan program berupa workshop yang mencakup teori dan praktik dalam pengelolaan UMKM, pemasaran, dan manajemen keuangan. Mitra utama dalam kegiatan ini adalah pelaku UMKM lokal, termasuk UMKM Tora Tora Sigi yang memproduksi keripik kelapa dengan berbagai varian rasa. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan bahwa pendampingan mampu meningkatkan keterampilan pelaku UMKM, terutama dalam pemasaran digital dan diversifikasi produk. Pendapatan rata-rata UMKM meningkat dari 58,73% menjadi 73,25% setelah pelaksanaan program. Faktor pendukung pengembangan UMKM mencakup bantuan pemerintah, sumber daya alam yang melimpah, dan partisipasi masyarakat, sementara hambatan utamanya adalah keterbatasan modal, akses pemasaran, dan sarana produksi. Kesimpulannya, UMKM berperan signifikan dalam peningkatan ekonomi masyarakat, namun memerlukan dukungan berkelanjutan. Rekomendasi dari kegiatan ini adalah meningkatkan literasi digital, akses modal, dan kolaborasi dengan pemangku kepentingan untuk memperkuat daya saing UMKM di wilayah tersebut.
Enhancing the Role of MSMEs to Support Economic Growth in the Community of Sibalaya Utara Village
This activity aims to analyze the role of MSMEs in improving the welfare of the community in Sibalaya Utara Village, Tanambulava District. The methods employed include observation, interviews, and documentation to understand field conditions, as well as the implementation of workshops that cover theoretical and practical aspects of MSME management, marketing, and financial management. The primary partners in this initiative were local MSME actors, including Tora Tora Sigi MSME, which produces coconut chips in various flavors. The results show that mentoring activities significantly enhanced the skills of MSME actors, particularly in digital marketing and product diversification. The average income of MSMEs increased from 58.73% to 73.25% after the program was implemented. Supporting factors for MSME development included government assistance, abundant natural resources, and community participation, while the main obstacles were limited capital, market access, and production facilities. In conclusion, MSMEs play a vital role in improving the community's economy but require ongoing support. Recommendations from this activity include enhancing digital literacy, improving access to capital, and fostering collaboration with stakeholders to strengthen the competitiveness of MSMEs in the region
