Edukasi Kesehatan dan Pemanfaatan Herbal untuk Pencegahan dan Pengelolaan Hipertensi di Kabupaten Bandung

Abstract: Hypertension is a non-communicable disease that significantly contributes to mortality in Indonesia. The high prevalence of hypertension, especially among the elderly, is caused by various factors such as unhealthy diets and lack of public knowledge. This Community Service activity aims to educate the community on the prevention and management of hypertension through promotive and preventive approaches. The activities were conducted in RW 17, Langensari Village, Bandung Regency, including health education, health screenings, and herbal usage training for blood pressure control. The results showed an increase in public knowledge about hypertension, changes in healthy lifestyle practices, and skills in processing herbal ingredients for health. Positive responses from the community indicate the program's success in raising awareness and promoting hypertension prevention efforts
