Upaya Perbaikan Gizi Keluarga Dengan Memanfaatkan Ekstrak Daun Kelor (Moringa oeifera) Sebagai Kudapan Sehat Di Kelurahan Madyopuro, Kecamatan Kedungkandang Kota Malang

Masalah kekurangan gizi, termasuk stunting, masih menjadi tantangan serius di Indonesia. Daun kelor (Moringa oleifera) memiliki kandungan nutrisi tinggi dan potensial sebagai pangan lokal yang dapat membantu mengatasi persoalan tersebut. Pengabdian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan pemahaman masyarakat terhadap manfaat daun kelor dan keterampilan dalam mengolahnya menjadi kudapan sehat berupa stik dan puding. Metode yang digunakan adalah pendekatan edukatif-partisipatif melalui sosialisasi, demonstrasi memasak, dan evaluasi berbasis data deskriptif kualitatif. Kegiatan melibatkan 25 anggota TP-PKK di Kelurahan Madyopuro, Kota Malang. Hasil menunjukkan peningkatan rata-rata skor pemahaman dari 2,1 menjadi 4,3 (skala 1–5), serta 76% peserta mampu mempraktikkan pembuatan olahan secara mandiri. Kegiatan ini juga membuka potensi pengembangan ekonomi rumah tangga serta meningkatkan kesadaran gizi berbasis bahan lokal. Program ini membuktikan bahwa pendekatan partisipatif dapat menjadi strategi efektif dalam mendukung ketahanan pangan dan upaya pencegahan stunting di tingkat keluarga.
Efforts to Improve Family Nutrition by Utilizing Moringa Leaf Extract (Moringa oleifera) as a Healthy Snack in Madyopuro Village, Kedungkandang District, Malang City
Malnutrition, including stunting, remains a serious challenge in Indonesia. Moringa leaves (Moringa oleifera) have high nutritional content and potential as local food that can help overcome these problems. This service aims to increase community understanding of the benefits of moringa leaves and skills in processing them into healthy snacks in the form of sticks and puddings. The method used is an educative-participatory approach through socialization, cooking demonstrations, and qualitative descriptive data-based evaluation. The activity involved 25 TP-PKK members in Madyopuro Village, Malang City. The results showed an increase in the average understanding score from 2.1 to 4.3 (scale 1-5), and 76% of participants were able to practice making preparations independently. This activity also opens up the potential for household economic development and increases awareness of nutrition based on local ingredients. This program proves that a participatory approach can be an effective strategy in supporting food security and stunting prevention efforts at the family level
