Strengthening Student Leadership Character through Leadership and Organizational Management Development Program

Strengthening student leadership character is essential to shaping resilient, reflective, and socially responsible young leaders. This community engagement program aimed to enhance leadership capacity through a training initiative grounded in experiential learning and transformational leadership approaches. The program involved 45 active students from FIKKM UNDIKMA’s student organizations and included conceptual sessions, leadership simulations, and personal reflection. Pre- and post-program evaluations revealed significant improvements: understanding rose from 56% to 88%, decision-making skills from 60% to 90%, self-awareness from 54% to 92%, active participation from 62% to 86%, and satisfaction with materials from 68% to 94%. These findings confirm that experience-based leadership training effectively strengthens both the character and leadership competence of university students in contemporary organizational settings.
