Pemberdayaan Masyarakat Dalam Pencegahan Dan Pengendalian Hipertensi di Kelurahan Ganti, Kabupaten Donggala, Provinsi Sulawesi Tengah

Hipertensi menjadi masalah kesehatan utama di Kelurahan Ganti RW 03 RT 02, Kecamatan Banawa, Kabupaten Donggala, Provinsi, Sulawesi Tengah dengan 6,5% warga teridentifikasi menderita hipertensi akibat kurangnya pengetahuan dan gaya hidup tidak sehat. Kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ini bertujuan memberdayakan masyarakat dalam pencegahan dan pengendalian hipertensi melalui penyuluhan kesehatan, pemeriksaan tekanan darah, kadar gula, kolesterol, asam urat, serta senam kebugaran. Hasil menunjukkan peningkatan pengetahuan dan kesadaran masyarakat tentang pentingnya pemeriksaan rutin, pola makan sehat, dan olahraga teratur dengan persentase pengetahuan kategori baik dari 57,1% menjadi 76,2%, dan penurunan kategori cukup dari 42,9% menjadi 23,8%. Kegiatan ini efektif meningkatkan perilaku hidup sehat, namun perlu dukungan berkelanjutan dari pemerintah dan puskesmas agar upaya pengendalian hipertensi dapat berlanjut secara optimal.
Community Empowerment Efforts in the Prevention and Control of Hypertension in Ganti Village, Donggala Regency, Central Sulawesi Province
Terjadi peningkatanHypertension remains a major public health issue in Ganti Subdistrict, RW 03 RT 02, Banawa District, Donggala Regency, Central Sulawesi Province, with 6.5% of residents identified as hypertensive, primarily due to limited knowledge and unhealthy lifestyle habits. This community service program aimed to empower residents in the prevention and control of hypertension through health education, blood pressure screening, and the measurement of blood glucose, cholesterol, and uric acid levels, complemented by community fitness exercises. The results demonstrated a notable improvement in community knowledge and awareness regarding the importance of regular health check-ups, balanced nutrition, and physical activity, with the proportion of participants showing good knowledge increasing from 57.1% to 76.2%, and those in the moderate category decreasing from 42.9% to 23.8%. This program proved effective in promoting healthy lifestyle behaviors, although continued support from local government and primary health centers is required to ensure the sustainability and optimal impact of hypertension control efforts.
