Abstract

Kolaborasi Universitas dengan perusahaan dalam hal ini PT. Antam UBPN Sultra dalam melestarikan lingkungan merupakan hal yang penting khususnya bagi mahasiswa. Kegiatan penanaman 1000 pohon di kampus Universitas Sembilanbelas November Kolaka di Kecamatan Tanggetada Kabupaten Kolaka bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kepedulian lingkungan mahasiswa. Pelaksanaan kegiatan dilakukan melibatkan 10 mahasiswa dan 3 instruktur, serta 10 panitia yang merupakan tim pengabdian kepada masyarakat. Kegiatan dilaksanakan dengan membersihkan lokasi, menanam, dan merawat pohon. Jenis pohon yang ditanam adalah bitti (vitex cofassus). Mahasiswa merasakan manfaat yang mengasah karakter peduli lingkungan mereka dengan melakukan praktek atau learning by doing. Kegiatan sejenis dapat dijadikan role model khususnya bagi perusahaan yang berdampak kepada lingkungan sekitar.

The Movement to Plant 1000 Trees to Form a Careful Character for the Environment at the Nineteen November University, Kolaka

Collaboration between university and companies in this case PT. Antam UBPN Sultra in preserving the environment is an important thing, especially for students. The 1000 tree planting activity on the Universitas Sembilanbelas November Kolaka campus in Tanggetada District, Kolaka Regency aims to increase students' environmental awareness. The activity was carried out involving 10 students and 3 instructors, as well as 10 community service teams who were community service teams. Activities are carried out by cleaning the site, planting, and caring for trees. The type of tree planted is Bitti (Vitex cofassus Reinw). Students feel the benefits of honing their environmental awareness character by practicing or learning by doing. Similar activities can be used as role models, especially for companies that have an impact on the surrounding environment.
