Pendampingan Program Pencegahan Penyakit Scabies Melalui Peningkatan PHBS Menuju Generasi Santri Sehat di Pondok Pesantren

Scabies adalah penyakit kulit dan menular yang disebabkan oleh sarcopes scabei. Dapat ditularkan langsun (skin to skin) seperti berjabat tangan, hubungan seksual, tidur bersama. Atau penularan secara tidak langsung (melalui benda) seperti selimut, bantal sprei, pakaian, handuk. Scabies merupakan penyakit kulit tersering yang menduduki peringkat ke 3 dari 12 penyakit kulit. Tujuan Pengabdian Masyarakat ini adalah dengan pemberian pendidikan kesehatan mengenai PHBS sebagai upaya untuk peningkatan derajat kesehatan menuju generasi santri sehat dan dapat mengaplikasikan PHBS dalam kehidupan sehari-hari. Pengabdian Masyarakat akan dilaksanakan di Pondok Pesantren Modern Al-Musyarrofah Cianjur. Pengabdian masyarakat di lakukan selama 1 hari, jumlah peserta 55 santriwati. Sebelum dan setelah dilakukan pendidikan kesehatan dilakukan test untuk mengukur pengetahuan santriwati terkait PHBS menggunakan kuesioner. Temuan dari pengabdian ini adalah terdapatnya peningkatan pengetahuan yaitu presentasi sebelum dilakukan Pendidikan Kesehatan sebesar 28% dan setelah dilakukan Pendidikan keseahtan mengenai PHBS persentasinya meningkat jadi 78,5%. Simpulan dari pengabdian ini adalah peningkatan pengetahuan mengenai PHBS sebagai upaya untuk pencegahan terjadinya Scabies di lingkungan Pondok Pesantren
Assistance In Scabies Prevention Programs Through Increasing Phbs Towards A Healthy Generation Of Students At Islamic Boarding Schools
Scabies is a skin and infectious disease caused by Sarcoptes scabiei. Can be transmitted directly (skin to skin) such as shaking hands, sexual intercourse, or sleeping together. Or indirect transmission (through objects) such as blankets, pillows, sheets, clothes, and towels. Scabies is the most common skin disease which is ranked 3rd out of 12 skin diseases. The purpose of this Community Service is to provide health education about PHBS as an effort to improve health status towards a generation of healthy students and can apply PHBS in everyday life. Community Service will be held at Al-Musyarrofah Islamic Boarding School, Cianjur. Community service was carried out for 1 day, and the number of participants was 55 female students. Before and after the health education has conducted a test was conducted to measure the knowledge of the female students related to PHBS using a questionnaire. The finding of this service is that there is an increase in knowledge, namely the percentage before Health Education is conducted by 28% and after Health Education is carried out on PHBS the percentage increases to 78.5%. The conclusion of this service is to increase knowledge about PHBS as an effort to prevent the occurrence of scabies in the Islamic boarding school environment
