Metode Everyone is a Teacher Here, Keterampilan Berbicara. Siswa SMP.Abstract
The Effect Implementation of Everyone is a Teacher Here Method to the Speaking Skills of Junior High School Students
Abstract
This study aims to know effect the implementation of everyone is a teacher here method on students’ speaking skill. This study was quantitative study which used quasi experiment method. The populations in this study were all VII graders students of SMPN 1 Maronge with number of students were 91. The sample determination technique used in this study was cluster random sampling consisted of two classes namely class VII A consisted of 23 students as experiment class and class VII B consisted od 23 students as control class. The data in this study obtained through students’ speaking skill grade on pre-test and post-test. The validity used in this study was content validity. The data was analyzed used t-test. Based on the speaking skill analysis result which used t-test showed that the t-value was higher than t-table (4.726 > 1.684) with significance degree of 5%, it means that alternative hypothesis (Ha) was accepted and Ho was rejected. Thus there is an effect of applying the Everyone is teacher here method to the speaking skills of Grade VII Junior High School students.
