Pengembangan Buku Saku Biologi Berbasis Problem Based Learning untuk Meningkatkan Hasil Belajar Siswa

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan buku saku biologi berbasis problem based learning sebagai bahan ajar pada materi mahluk hidup dan lingkungan kelas VII di MTs Al-Kholidi NW Pengenem Lauk. Jenis penelitian ini adalah pengembangan dan mengacu pada model ADDIE yang meliputi Analisis, design, development, implementation, dan Evaluation. Pada tahap analisis, dilakukan observasi dan wawancara terhadap guru biologi MTs Al- Kholidi NW Pengenem Lauk. Pada design dibuat buku saku mengenai materi mahluk hidup dan lingkungan kelas VII. Pada saat divalidasi oleh ahli materi di peroleh nilai rata-rata 89% (sangat layak). Validasi ahli media diperoleh nilai rata-rata 92% (sangat layak). Setelah dilakukan validasi kemudian dilakukan ujicoba lapangan terhadap guru dan siswa. Penilaian guru bidang studi biologi yaitu 94% (sangat layak), dan hasil penilaian angket terhadap siswa yaitu 96% (sangat layak). Sedangkan dari hasil evaluasi belajar siswa menggunakan buku saku memiliki rata-rata nilai diatas standar KKM yaitu 81,67. Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa buku saku berbasis problem based learning sangat layak digunakan karena mampu meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa di MTs Al Kholidi NW Pengenem lauk.
Development of a Problem-Based Learning Biology Pocket Book to Improve Student Learning Outcomes
Abstract
This study aims to develop a problem based learning biology pocket book as a teaching material on living things and the environment for class VII at MTs Al-Kholidi NW Pengem Lauk. This type of research is development and refers to the ADDIE model which includes analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation. In the analysis phase, observations and interviews were carried out with the biology teacher at MTs Al-Kholidi NW Pengem Lauk. In the design, a pocket book is made on living things and the environment for class VII. When validated by material experts, an average value of 89% (very decent) is obtained. Media expert validation obtained an average value of 92% (very feasible). After validation, field trials were carried out on teachers and students. The assessment of teachers in the field of biology studies is 94% (very feasible), and the results of the questionnaire assessment of students are 96% (very feasible). Meanwhile, from the results of the evaluation of student learning using pocket books, the average score is above the KKM standard, which is 81,67. This shows that problem based learning pocket books are very appropriate to use because they can improve student learning outcomes at MTs Al Kholidi NW Pengem Lauk.
