Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis faktor-faktor dan kondisi yang mempengaruhi revitalisasi nasionalisme anak Pekerja Migran Indonesia di Community Learning Center (CLC) Sarawak, Malaysia. Dalam konteks anak-anak Pekerja Migran, mempertahankan nasionalisme dan identitas budaya mereka di lingkungan yang berbeda menjadi tantangan yang signifikan. Oleh karena itu, penelitian ini memfokuskan pada faktor-faktor yang dapat mempengaruhi proses revitalisasi nasionalisme mereka di CLC. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian kualitatif dengan pendekatan studi kasus untuk mengungkap revitalisasi nasionalisme di CLC Sarawak. Penelitian dilakukan di CLC Ladang Ladong dengan jumlah 8 subjek penelitian yang terdiri dari guru, siswa, orang tua siswa dan manager Perusahaan tempat CLC berada. Pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui observasi, wawancara mendalam, dan dokumentasi. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dan pembahasan yang telah dipaparkan, maka dapat diambil kesimpulan bahwa faktor-faktor dan kondisi yang mempengaruhi revitalisasi nasionalisme anak Pekerja Migran Indonesia di CLC Sarawak adalah sebagai berikut: (1) lingkungan pendidikan di CLC, (2) partisipasi orang tua, (3) identitas budaya, (4) dukungan komunitas, dan (5) lingkungan sosial kultural.
Factors and Conditions Influencing the Revitalization of Nationalism of Children of Indonesian Migrant Workers in CLC Sarawak
Abstract
This study aims to analyze the factors and conditions that influence the revitalization of the nationalism of the children of Indonesian migrant workers at the Community Learning Center (CLC) Sarawak, Malaysia. In the context of children of migrant workers, maintaining their nationalism and cultural identity in a different environment is a significant challenge. Therefore, this study focuses on factors that can influence the process of revitalizing their nationalism in CLC. This study uses a qualitative research method with a case study approach to reveal the revitalization of nationalism in CLC Sarawak. The research was conducted at CLC Ladang Ladong with a total of 8 research subjects consisting of teachers, students, parents and managers of the company where CLC is located. Data collection was carried out through observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation. Based on the results of the research and discussion that has been presented, it can be concluded that the factors and conditions that influence the revitalization of nationalism of children of Indonesian migrant workers in CLC Sarawak are as follows: (1) educational environment in CLC, (2) parental participation, (3) cultural identity, (4) community support, and (5) socio-cultural environment.
