Peran Pendidikan Kewirausahaan dalam Inovasi Produk: Studi Kasus Teh Rosella di SMKN 1 Mas Ubud

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis peran pendidikan kewirausahaan dalam mendorong kreativitas, inovasi, dan efektivitas pengembangan produk, dengan fokus pada studi kasus pengembangan Teh Rosella di SMKN 1 Mas Ubud. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif dengan pendekatan studi kasus. Subjek penelitian melibatkan enam siswa kelas XI Akuntansi yang terlibat dalam proyek pengembangan Teh Rosella. Teknik pengumpulan data meliputi wawancara, observasi, dan angket. Validitas dan reliabilitas instrumen dikonfirmasi melalui triangulasi data. Analisis data menggunakan metode tematik untuk mengidentifikasi tema terkait kreativitas, inovasi, dan efektivitas program. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa program kewirausahaan di SMKN 1 Mas Ubud efektif dalam meningkatkan kreativitas dan inovasi siswa, dengan 83,3% responden merasa program tersebut berkontribusi pada pengembangan keterampilan. Secara keseluruhan, efektivitas program kewirausahaan ini cukup tinggi dalam mendorong kreativitas dan inovasi, namun peningkatan dalam hal fasilitas dan kolaborasi dengan industri masih diperlukan untuk mencapai hasil yang optimal. Tantangan terkait keterbatasan fasilitas dan dukungan dari guru juga menjadi hambatan yang perlu diatasi untuk lebih memaksimalkan potensi program. Penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa pendidikan kewirausahaan memainkan peran penting dalam memfasilitasi inovasi produk, namun memerlukan perbaikan dari segi infrastruktur dan dukungan industri untuk dampak yang lebih optimal.
The Role of Entrepreneurship Education in Product Innovation: A Case Study of Rosella Tea at SMKN 1 Mas Ubud
Abstract
This study aims to analyze the role of entrepreneurship education in fostering creativity, innovation, and product development effectiveness, focusing on a case study of Rosella Tea development at SMKN 1 Mas Ubud. The research employs a qualitative method with a case study approach. The subjects include six 11th-grade accounting students involved in the Rosella Tea development project. Data collection techniques consist of interviews, observations, and questionnaires. The validity and reliability of the instruments were confirmed through data triangulation. Thematic analysis was used to identify key themes related to creativity, innovation, and program effectiveness. The findings show that the entrepreneurship program at SMKN 1 Mas Ubud is effective in enhancing students' creativity and innovation, with 83.3% of respondents indicating that the program contributed to their skill development. Overall, the program is highly effective in promoting creativity and innovation, though improvements in facilities and industry collaboration are necessary to achieve optimal results. Challenges such as limited facilities and insufficient teacher support also hinder the program’s full potential. This study concludes that entrepreneurship education plays a critical role in facilitating product innovation, but improvements in infrastructure and industry support are needed for a more optimal impact.
