Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk merancang Ruang Kreasi dan Baca berbasis Arsitektur Hijau di Kota Mataram. Dengan menerapkan prinsip-prinsip arsitektur hijau, penelitian ini berfokus pada penggunaan material ramah lingkungan, strategi ventilasi alami, pencahayaan pasif, serta sumber energi terbarukan seperti panel surya dan sistem pengelolaan air hujan. Penelitian ini mengintegrasikan kebutuhan lokal, kondisi iklim, dan aspek sosial-budaya Mataram untuk menciptakan ruang publik yang nyaman, fungsional, dan berkelanjutan. Desain Ruang Kreasi dan Baca ini bertujuan untuk mengatasi tantangan urbanisasi yang pesat dan kebutuhan akan infrastruktur publik yang mendukung literasi dan kreativitas, sambil mempromosikan keberlanjutan lingkungan. Hasil penelitian diharapkan dapat berkontribusi pada peningkatan kualitas hidup masyarakat, pengurangan dampak lingkungan melalui optimalisasi energi, serta mendorong terciptanya ruang publik berkelanjutan yang selaras dengan iklim dan konteks budaya setempat. Selain itu, penelitian ini memperkenalkan penggunaan teknologi hijau yang inovatif dalam infrastruktur publik, yang berpotensi menginspirasi proyek-proyek serupa di kota lain yang menghadapi tantangan serupa.
Design of a Green Architecture-Based Creative and Reading Space in Mataram City
Abstract
This study aims to design a Creative and Reading Space based on Green Architecture in Mataram City. By employing green architecture principles, the research focuses on implementing environmentally friendly materials, natural ventilation strategies, passive lighting, and renewable energy sources such as solar panels and rainwater management systems. The study integrates local needs, climatic conditions, and the socio-cultural aspects of Mataram to create a public space that is comfortable, functional, and sustainable. The design of the Creative and Reading Space aims to address the challenges of rapid urbanization and the need for improved public infrastructure that fosters literacy and creativity while promoting environmental sustainability. The research findings are expected to contribute to enhancing the quality of life for the community, reducing environmental impacts through energy optimization, and promoting sustainable public spaces that align with the local climate and cultural context. Additionally, this study introduces the innovative use of green technology in public infrastructure, which has the potential to inspire future projects in other cities facing similar challenges.
