Analisis Nilai Tukar Nelayan Kecil di Kecamatan Tanjung Kabupaten Lombok Utara

Kecamatan Tanjung merupakan salah satu kawasan pesisir yang terletak di Kabupaten Lombok Utara, Nusa Tenggara Barat. Selain potensi wisata, potensi sumberdaya pesisir dan laut Kecamatan Tanjung terutama sektor perikanan juga sangat besar. Mayoritas mata pencaharian masyarakat sekitar pesisir di Kecamatan Tanjung adalah nelayan yang bergantung pada sumberdaya perikanan karena kondisi geografisnya yang merupakan wilayah pesisir. Penelitian ini dilakukan di Kecamatan Tanjung Kabupaten Lombok Utara dengan tujuan untuk menganalisis: besar pendapatan dan pengeluaran serta tingkat kesejahteraan nelayan berdasarkan indikator Nilai Tukar Nelayan (NTN). Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif dengan unit analisis rumah tangga nelayan di Kecamatan Tanjung. Penelitian dilakukan di Kecamatan Tanjung Kabupaten Lombok Utara dengan metode purposive sampling yaitu lokasi dipilih secara sengaja. Penentuan jumlah responden dengan rumus slovin dan diperoleh sebanyak 38 rumah tangga nelayan. Jenis data pada penelitian ini adalah data kualitatif dan kuantitatif dengan sumber data adalah data primer dan sekunder. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan teknik survei. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan (1) Rata-rata pendapatan rumah tangga nelayan kecil dari usaha perikanan tangkap sebesar Rp. 35.948.643/tahun. (2) Rata-rata total pendapatan rumah tangga nelayan kecil sebesar Rp. 45.732.613/tahun. (3) Rata-rata pengeluaran rumah tangga nelayan kecil sebesar Rp. 43.228.974/tahun. (4) Berdasarkan hasil penelitian rata-rata dari Nilai Tukar Nelayan (NTN) rumah tangga nelayan kecil di Kecamatan Tanjung Kabupaten Lombok Utara berada pada tingkat sejahtera (NTN > 1), artinya rumah tangga nelayan mampu memenuh kebutuhan primer dan sekundernya.
Analysis of the Exchange Rate of Small Fishermen in Tanjung District North Lombok Regency
Abstract
Tanjung District is a coastal area located in North Lombok Regency, West Nusa Tenggara. Apart from tourism potential, the potential for coastal and marine resources in Tanjung District, especially the fisheries sector, is also very large. The majority of people living around the coast in Tanjung District are fishermen who depend on fisheries resources because of the geographical condition of the coastal area. This research was conducted in Tanjung District, North Lombok Regency with the aim of analyzing: the amount of income and expenditure as well as the welfare level of fishermen based on the Fisherman's Exchange Rate (NTN) indicator. This research uses a descriptive method with the analysis unit of fishing households in Tanjung District. The research was conducted in Tanjung District, North Lombok Regency using a purposive sampling method, namely the location was chosen deliberately. Determining the number of respondents using the Slovin formula resulted in 38 fishing households. The types of data in this research are qualitative and quantitative data with data sources being primary and secondary data. Data collection was carried out using survey techniques. The research results show (1) The average household income of small fishermen from capture fisheries is IDR. 35,948,643/year. (2) The average total household income of small fishermen is IDR. 45,732,613/year. (3) The average household expenditure of small fishermen is IDR. 43,228,974/year. (4) Based on research results, the average Fisherman's Exchange Rate (NTN) of small fishing households in Tanjung District, North Lombok Regency is at the prosperous level (NTN > 1), meaning that fishing households are able to fulfill their primary and secondary needs.
