Gambaran Pemeriksaan IgG dan IgM Demam Berdarah Dengue pada Pasien di Rumah Sakit Umum Pancaran Kasih Kota Manado

Demam berdarah dengue merupakan infeksi virus dengue yang di tularkan ke manusia melalui gigitan nyamuk aedes aegypti dan aedes albopictus yang di temukan di daerah beriklim tropis dan subtropik. Menurut Badan Pusat Statistik Sulawesi Utara tahun 2024, Kota Manado menduduki urutan ke empat dalam jumlah kasus Demam berdarah dengue terbanyak. Penyakit ini dapat di tegakkan berdasarkan gejala klinis dan pemeriksaan laboratorium. Salah satu pemeriksaan laboratorium yakni Pemeriksaan Serologis Immunoglobin G (IgG) dan Immunoglobulin M (IgM) anti dengue. Penelitian bertujuan untuk menggambarkan pemeriksaan IgG dan IgM pada pasien demam berdarah dengue di Rumah Sakit Umum Pancaran Kasih Kota Manado. Jenis penelitian adalah penelitian kuantitatif deskriptif dengan desain penelitian cross sectional-study. Sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh pasien yang dilakukan pemeriksaan IgG dan IgM anti dengue dalam periode januari – desember 2024 yang berjumlah 151 pasien. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa perempuan lebih banyak dilakukan pemeriksaan IgG dan IgM anti dengue berjumlah 80 orang (53,0%) dengan mayoritas hasil pemeriksaan IgG + IgM – ( 33 orang) mengindikasikan infeksi sekunder, sedangkan laki laki 71 orang (47,0%) dengan hasil pemeriksaan yang paling dominan adalah hasil IgG – IgM – (38 orang) mengindikasikan infeksi awal. Kelompok usia 6-9 tahun memiliki jumlah yang paling dominan, berjumlah 44 orang (29,1% ) dan kelompok usia 19-59 berjumlah 43 orang (28,5%). Mayoritas pasien pada kedua kelompok usia ini memiliki hasil IgG – IgM –. Kelompok Usia 6-9 tahun (19 orang) dan kelompok usia 19-59 (25 orang).
Description of IgG And IgM Examination for Dengue Hemorrhagic Fever in Patients at Pancaran Kasih General Hospital, Manado City
Abstract
Dengue fever is a dengue virus infection transmitted to humans through the bites of Aedes aegypti and Aedes albopictus mosquitoes, found in tropical and subtropical climates. According to the North Sulawesi Central Statistics Agency (BPS) in 2024, Manado City ranked fourth in terms of the number of dengue fever cases. This disease can be diagnosed based on clinical symptoms and laboratory tests. One of the laboratory tests is the serological examination of anti-dengue immunoglobulin G (IgG) and anti-dengue immunoglobulin M (IgM). This study aimed to describe IgG and IgM testing in dengue fever patients at Pancaran Kasih General Hospital, Manado City. This study was a descriptive quantitative study with a cross-sectional design. The sample consisted of all 151 patients who underwent anti-dengue IgG and IgM testing between January and December 2024. The results showed that females (80) underwent anti-dengue IgG and IgM testing more frequently, with the majority of IgG + IgM – results (33) indicating secondary infection. Males (71) were male, with the most dominant IgG – IgM – results (38) indicating primary infection. The 6-9 age group had the highest number of patients, with 44 (29.1%), and the 19-59 age group had 43 (28.5%). The majority of patients in both age groups had IgG – IgM – results. Age group 6-9 years (19 people) and age group 19-59 (25 people).
