Pengaruh Latihan Circuit Training terhadap Kemampuan Rangkaian Gerak Senam Ritmik Alat Simpai pada Atlet PERSANI Kota Makassar

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh latihan circuit training terhadap kemampuan rangkaian gerak senam ritmik alat simpai pada atlet PERSANI Kota Makassar. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan desain pre-eksperimental model one group pretest–posttest. Sampel penelitian berjumlah 15 atlet yang dipilih menggunakan teknik total sampling. Instrumen penelitian berupa tes keterampilan rangkaian gerak yang mencakup lima aspek penilaian, yaitu kontinuitas gerak, koordinasi tubuh dengan alat, ketepatan ritme, keseimbangan, dan kualitas eksekusi gerakan. Analisis data dilakukan menggunakan statistik deskriptif dan inferensial dengan uji t berpasangan (paired sample t-test) pada taraf signifikansi 0,05. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan adanya peningkatan rata-rata skor dari 72,93 pada pretest menjadi 82,40 pada posttest, dengan selisih peningkatan sebesar 9,47 poin. Uji hipotesis menunjukkan nilai t = -26,05 dengan signifikansi 0,000 (p < 0,05), yang berarti terdapat perbedaan signifikan antara pretest dan posttest. Nilai effect size (Cohen’s d = 2,38) menunjukkan pengaruh yang sangat besar secara praktis. Selain itu, hasil N-Gain berada pada kategori sedang, yang mengindikasikan adanya peningkatan kemampuan yang konsisten setelah perlakuan diberikan. Berdasarkan hasil tersebut, dapat disimpulkan bahwa latihan circuit training berpengaruh signifikan terhadap peningkatan kemampuan rangkaian gerak senam ritmik alat simpai. Metode ini direkomendasikan sebagai bagian dari program latihan terintegrasi dalam pembinaan atlet senam ritmik.
The Effect of Circuit Training on Movement Sequence Ability in Rhythmic Gymnastics Hoop Performance among PERSANI Makassar Athletes
Abstract
This study aimed to analyze the effect of circuit training on the movement sequence ability in rhythmic gymnastics with the hoop apparatus among PERSANI Makassar City athletes. The research employed a quantitative approach with a pre-experimental design using a one-group pretest–posttest model. The sample consisted of 15 athletes selected through total sampling. The research instrument was a movement sequence performance test covering five assessment aspects: movement continuity, body–apparatus coordination, rhythm accuracy, balance, and quality of movement execution. Data were analyzed using descriptive and inferential statistics with a paired sample t-test at a significance level of 0.05. The results showed an increase in the mean score from 72.93 in the pretest to 82.40 in the posttest, with a mean improvement of 9.47 points. Hypothesis testing revealed a t-value of -26.05 with a significance level of 0.000 (p < 0.05), indicating a significant difference between pretest and posttest scores. The effect size (Cohen’s d = 2.38) demonstrated a very large practical impact. In addition, the N-Gain result was categorized as moderate, indicating a consistent improvement in performance following the intervention. Based on these findings, it can be concluded that circuit training has a significant effect on improving movement sequence ability in rhythmic gymnastics with the hoop apparatus. This method is recommended as part of an integrated training program in rhythmic gymnastics athlete development.
