Pengembangan LKPD Digital Berbasis (CIRC) Pada Materi Pemanasan Global Dalam Upaya Meningkatkan Literasi Konteks Sains Siswa

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan Lembar Kerja Peserta Didik (LKPD) digital berbasis Cooperative Integrated Reading and Composition (CIRC) pada materi pemanasan global serta menganalisis tingkat kevalidan, kepraktisan, dan keefektifannya dalam meningkatkan literasi konteks sains peserta didik. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian pengembangan (Research and Development) dengan menggunakan model 4D yang meliputi tahap define, design, development, dan dissemination. Subjek penelitian adalah peserta didik kelas X SMA Dharma Pancasila Medan. Instrumen penelitian meliputi lembar validasi ahli materi dan ahli media, angket kepraktisan oleh guru dan peserta didik, serta tes pretest dan posttest untuk mengukur keefektifan LKPD digital. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa LKPD digital berbasis CIRC yang dikembangkan berada pada kategori sangat valid berdasarkan penilaian ahli materi dan media. Hasil uji kepraktisan menunjukkan bahwa LKPD digital sangat praktis digunakan dalam proses pembelajaran. Uji keefektifan menunjukkan adanya peningkatan literasi konteks sains peserta didik yang ditunjukkan oleh nilai N-Gain dengan kategori sedang hingga tinggi. Dengan demikian, LKPD digital berbasis CIRC menggunakan Google Sites layak, praktis, dan efektif digunakan sebagai bahan ajar pada materi pemanasan global untuk meningkatkan literasi konteks sains peserta didik.
The Development of CIRC-Based Digital Student Worksheets on Global Warming Materials to Improve Students’ Science Context Literacy
Abstract
This study aims to develop digital Student Worksheets based on the Cooperative Integrated Reading and Composition (CIRC) model on global warming material and to analyze their validity, practicality, and effectiveness in improving students’ scientific context literacy. This research employed a Research and Development (R&D) approach using the 4D model, which consists of the define, design, development, and dissemination stages. The research subjects were eleventh-grade students of SMA Dharma Pancasila Medan. The research instruments included validation sheets from material experts and media experts, practicality questionnaires administered to teachers and students, and pretest and posttest instruments to measure the effectiveness of the digital LKPD. The results showed that the developed CIRC-based digital LKPD was categorized as very valid based on evaluations by material and media experts. The practicality test results indicated that the digital LKPD was very practical to use in the learning process. The effectiveness test revealed an improvement in students’ scientific context literacy, as indicated by N-Gain scores in the moderate to high categories. Therefore, the CIRC-based digital LKPD developed using Google Sites is feasible, practical, and effective as teaching material on global warming to improve students’ scientific context literacy.
