Pengaruh Latihan Skipping Rope dan Box Jump terhadap Ketepatan Long Pass Pemain Sepakbola SSB Bintama FC Taliwang

Kemampuan long pass merupakan salah satu keterampilan teknik yang berperan penting dalam mendukung efektivitas transisi permainan sepak bola, namun berdasarkan observasi awal kemampuan long pass pemain SSB Bintama FC Taliwang masih belum optimal. Penelitian ini bertujuan menganalisis pengaruh latihan skipping rope dan box jump terhadap ketepatan long pass ditinjau dari power otot tungkai pemain. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan metode eksperimen dan rancangan faktorial 2 × 2. Populasi penelitian berjumlah 24 pemain SSB Bintama FC Taliwang kelompok usia U-16, yang seluruhnya dijadikan sampel menggunakan teknik total sampling. Sampel dikelompokkan berdasarkan kategori power otot tungkai tinggi dan rendah, kemudian diberikan perlakuan berupa latihan skipping rope dan box jump selama enam minggu (18 kali pertemuan). Ketepatan long pass diukur menggunakan Tes Kemampuan Tendangan Lambung Bobby Charlton yang memiliki validitas sebesar 0,851 dan reliabilitas sebesar 0,823, sedangkan reliabilitas pengukuran ulang pada penelitian ini sebesar 0,833. Analisis data meliputi statistik deskriptif, uji normalitas Shapiro–Wilk, uji homogenitas Levene, paired sample t-test, dan Two-Way ANOVA pada taraf signifikansi 5%. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kedua metode latihan berpengaruh signifikan terhadap peningkatan ketepatan long pass (p<0,05), dengan latihan box jump memberikan peningkatan yang lebih tinggi dibandingkan skipping rope. Power otot tungkai juga berpengaruh signifikan terhadap ketepatan long pass (p=0,001), serta terdapat interaksi yang signifikan antara metode latihan dan power otot tungkai (p=0,047). Disimpulkan bahwa latihan box jump lebih efektif dibandingkan skipping rope dalam meningkatkan ketepatan long pass, terutama pada pemain yang memiliki power otot tungkai tinggi.
The Effect of Skipping Rope and Box Jump Training on the Accuracy of Long Passes among Football Players at SSB Bintama FC Taliwang
Abstract
Long-passing ability is a technical skill that plays a crucial role in the effectiveness of transitions in soccer; however, preliminary observations indicate that the long-passing ability of SSB Bintama FC Taliwang players remains suboptimal. This study aimed to analyze the effects of skipping rope and box jump training on long-passing accuracy, considering the players' leg muscle power. A quantitative approach was employed using an experimental method and a 2 × 2 factorial design. The study population consisted of 24 U-16 players from SSB Bintama FC Taliwang, all of whom were included in the sample via total sampling. Participants were categorized into high and low leg muscle power groups and underwent a six-week training program (18 sessions) involving either skipping rope or box jumps. Long-passing accuracy was measured using the Bobby Charlton Lofted Kick Test (validity: 0.851; reliability: 0.823), with a test-retest reliability of 0.833 in this study. Data analysis included descriptive statistics, the Shapiro–Wilk normality test, Levene’s homogeneity test, paired sample t-tests, and Two-Way ANOVA at a 5% significance level. The results showed that both training methods significantly improved long-passing accuracy (p<0.05), with box jump training yielding greater improvement than skipping rope. Leg muscle power also significantly influenced long-passing accuracy (p=0.001), and a significant interaction was found between the training method and leg muscle power (p=0.047). It is concluded that box jump training is more effective than skipping rope for improving long-passing accuracy, particularly among players with high leg muscle power.
