Analisis Tingkat Penguasaan Gerak Dasar Passing Bawah dalam Permainan Bola Voli pada Peserta Ekstrakurikuler MTs Raudhatul Thalibin NW Paok Motong

Penguasaan gerak dasar passing bawah merupakan salah satu keterampilan fundamental dalam permainan bola voli yang berperan penting dalam membangun serangan maupun mempertahankan penguasaan bola. Namun, kemampuan teknik dasar peserta ekstrakurikuler di sekolah masih bervariasi sehingga diperlukan evaluasi untuk mengetahui tingkat penguasaannya. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis tingkat penguasaan gerak dasar passing bawah dalam permainan bola voli pada peserta ekstrakurikuler MTs Raudhatul Thalibin NW Paok Motong. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan metode deskriptif survei. Subjek penelitian berjumlah 40 peserta ekstrakurikuler bola voli yang ditentukan menggunakan teknik total sampling, sehingga seluruh anggota populasi dijadikan sampel penelitian. Instrumen penelitian menggunakan tes keterampilan passing bawah yang telah mengacu pada instrumen tes keterampilan bola voli dengan validitas dan reliabilitas yang memenuhi kriteria kelayakan sebagai alat ukur. Analisis data dilakukan menggunakan statistik deskriptif yang meliputi nilai rata-rata, standar deviasi, nilai minimum dan maksimum, distribusi frekuensi, serta uji normalitas Shapiro–Wilk. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa nilai rata-rata kemampuan passing bawah peserta sebesar 22,53 dengan standar deviasi 2,14, nilai minimum 19, dan maksimum 27. Sebagian besar peserta berada pada kategori kurang (32,5%), sedangkan kategori baik dan sangat baik masing-masing sebesar 27,5% dan 10,0%. Temuan ini menunjukkan bahwa penguasaan gerak dasar passing bawah peserta ekstrakurikuler masih belum optimal sehingga diperlukan program latihan yang lebih terstruktur, bervariasi, dan berkelanjutan untuk meningkatkan kualitas keterampilan teknik dasar bola voli.
Analysis of the Level of Mastery of Basic Underhand Passing Skills in Volleyball among Extracurricular Participants at MTs Raudhatul Thalibin NW Paok Motong
Abstract
Mastery of the basic underhand passing movement is a fundamental volleyball skill that plays a crucial role in both building attacks and maintaining ball possession. However, the basic technical proficiency of students participating in the school's extracurricular program varies, necessitating an evaluation to determine their level of mastery. This study aims to analyze the level of mastery regarding the basic underhand passing movement among volleyball extracurricular participants at MTs Raudhatul Thalibin NW Paok Motong. The study employed a quantitative approach using a descriptive survey method. The subjects consisted of 40 volleyball extracurricular participants selected via total sampling, meaning the entire population served as the research sample. The research instrument utilized an underhand passing skill test based on established volleyball skill assessment tools that met validity and reliability criteria for measurement. Data analysis was conducted using descriptive statistics, including the mean, standard deviation, minimum and maximum values, frequency distribution, and the Shapiro–Wilk normality test. The results showed that the participants' mean underhand passing score was 22.53, with a standard deviation of 2.14, a minimum score of 19, and a maximum score of 27. The majority of participants fell into the "poor" category (32.5%), while the "good" and "very good" categories accounted for 27.5% and 10.0%, respectively. These findings indicate that the participants' mastery of the basic underhand passing movement is not yet optimal; therefore, a more structured, varied, and sustainable training program is required to improve the quality of basic volleyball technical skills.
