The Effect of Simple Passing, Moving, and Rotation Training on the Playing Ability of Kunfath Academy Futsal Players in 2025
AbstractThis study examined changes in the playing ability of Kunfath Academy futsal players in 2025 after an eight-week simple passing-moving-rotation training program. A quantitative one-group pretest-posttest design was used with 16 players selected through purposive sampling. The instruments comprised a passing accuracy test, an off-the-ball movement drill, and a positional rotation drill. Training was conducted twice weekly for eight weeks (16 sessions). Data analysis included descriptive statistics, a Shapiro-Wilk normality test of difference scores, and a Wilcoxon signed-rank test because the differences were not normally distributed. The mean total score increased from 43.13 (SD = 1.71) at pretest to 59.50 (SD = 2.13) at posttest, corresponding to a mean increase of 16.38 points or approximately 37.97%. The Wilcoxon test indicated a significant pretest-posttest difference (p < .001). The aspect-level summary in the manuscript reported gains of 7.0 points in passing, 4.8 points in off-the-ball movement, and 5.1 points in positional rotation. These findings show a consistent improvement after the training program. Because no control group was included, the findings should be interpreted as preliminary evidence of program effectiveness rather than a definitive causal estimate.
