Pengaruh Discovery Learning Berbantuan Media Kartu Qimono terhadap Pemahaman Konsep pada Materi Sistem Pencernaan di SDN 28 Cakranegara

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh rendahnya pemahaman konsep siswa kelas V SDN 28 Cakranegara pada materi sistem pencernaan. Upaya yang dapat dilakukan untuk meningkatkan pemahaman konsep adalah penerapan model discovery learning berbantuan media Kartu Qimono (QR Domino). Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh model discovery learning berbantuan media Kartu Qimono terhadap pemahaman konsep IPAS siswa kelas V SDN 28 Cakranegara. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan metode quasi experimental dan desain pretest-posttest control group design. Populasi penelitian berjumlah 49 siswa kelas V SDN 28 Cakranegara tahun ajaran 2025/2026. Sampel terdiri dari kelas VA sebagai kelompok eksperimen (24 siswa) dan kelas VB sebagai kelompok kontrol (25 siswa). Pengumpulan data menggunakan tes pilihan ganda dan lembar observasi. Analisis data menggunakan statistik deskriptif dan inferensial melalui uji normalitas, uji homogenitas, independent samples t-test, dan uji effect size. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa keterlaksanaan model discovery learning berbantuan media Kartu Qimono mencapai 100% dengan kategori sangat baik. Rata-rata nilai pre-test kelompok eksperimen sebesar 59,13 dan post-test sebesar 79,08. Sementara itu, rata-rata pre-test kelompok kontrol sebesar 58,40 dan post-test sebesar 71,16. Hasil independent samples t-test menunjukkan nilai t hitung sebesar -2,870 dengan derajat kebebasan (df) = 47 dan nilai signifikansi sebesar 0,006 (*p* < 0,05), yang mengindikasikan bahwa H₀ ditolak dan Hₐ diterima. Analisis effect size menggunakan Cohen's d menghasilkan nilai 0,82 yang termasuk kategori besar. Berdasarkan hasil tersebut, dapat disimpulkan bahwa model discovery learning berbantuan media Kartu Qimono berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap pemahaman konsep IPAS siswa kelas V SDN 28 Cakranegara pada materi sistem pencernaan.

The Effect of Discovery Learning Assisted by Qimono Cards on Conceptual Understanding of the Digestive System Topic at SDN 28 Cakranegara
Abstract
This study was motivated by the low level of conceptual understanding regarding the digestive system among fifth-grade students at SDN 28 Cakranegara. One strategy to improve conceptual understanding is the implementation of the discovery learning model supported by Qimono Card (QR Domino) media. This study aimed to determine the effect of the discovery learning model assisted by Qimono Card media on the Natural and Social Sciences (IPAS) conceptual understanding of fifth-grade students at SDN 28 Cakranegara. A quantitative approach was employed using a quasi-experimental method and a pretest-posttest control group design. The study population consisted of 49 fifth-grade students at SDN 28 Cakranegara during the 2025/2026 academic year. The sample comprised Class VA as the experimental group (24 students) and Class VB as the control group (25 students). Data were collected using multiple-choice tests and observation sheets. Data analysis involved descriptive and inferential statistics, specifically normality tests, homogeneity tests, an independent samples t-test, and an effect size test. The results showed that the implementation of the discovery learning model assisted by Qimono Card media achieved a 100% completion rate, falling into the "very good" category. The experimental group's mean pretest score was 59.13, and the posttest score was 79.08; meanwhile, the control group's mean pretest score was 58.40, and the posttest score was 71.16. The independent samples t-test yielded a calculated t-value of -2.870 (with degrees of freedom [df] = 47) and a significance value of 0.006 (*p* < 0.05), indicating that the null hypothesis (H₀) was rejected and the alternative hypothesis (Hₐ) was accepted. Effect size analysis using Cohen's d resulted in a value of 0.82, which falls into the "large" category. Based on these findings, it can be concluded that the discovery learning model assisted by Qimono Card media has a positive and significant effect on the IPAS conceptual understanding of fifth-grade students at SDN 28 Cakranegara regarding the digestive system.
