The Level of Loneliness and Training Commitment among Futsal Extracurricular Members at SMPN 6 Alalak
Abstract
Sports extracurricular activities serve as an important medium for developing students’ interests, talents, social skills, and character building. However, participation in extracurricular activities does not always guarantee the fulfillment of individuals’ social needs, so some students may still experience loneliness, which can potentially affect their training commitment. This study aimed to determine the level of loneliness and training commitment among futsal extracurricular members at SMPN 6 Alalak. This study employed a quantitative descriptive method with a survey approach. The population consisted of 33 futsal extracurricular members using a total sampling technique. Data were collected using questionnaires, while data were analyzed using descriptive percentage statistics. The results showed that the level of loneliness was in the moderate and high categories with a percentage of 27.27%, while training commitment was in the moderate category with a percentage of 33.33%.
