International Journal of Population Issues (IJPI) aims at expanding venues for academic publications related to population issues globally, with a particular concern for developing countries. This journal welcomes authors residing in both developing and developed countries worldwide. This open-access publication is subject to anonymous peer review and invites submissions from a diverse range of disciplines including technical demography, economics, sociology, anthropology, politics, history, and health. It accepts both theoretical and applied research on population issues, covering a variety of topics such as fertility and reproductive health, marriage/ union formation and dissolution, employment, population mobility, population aging, population projection, mortality, health, education, ethnicity/race/religion/language, welfare as well as relationships between population dynamics and development. The journal is published online, twice a year.
