Utilization Of Solar System Scope Application As Augmented Reality Media To Support Students' Activeness In Learning The Solar System At Sdn Puntik Luar 1
This study aims to describe the utilization of the Solar System Scope application as an Augmented Reality (AR) medium to enhance student engagement in solar system learning at SDN Puntik Luar 1. The use of AR-based technology is expected to create a more engaging, interactive, and contextual learning experience for elementary school students. This research employed a qualitative descriptive approach, with data collected through direct classroom observations, interviews with teachers and students, and document studies related to the learning implementation. Data analysis was conducted through data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing and verification to provide a comprehensive understanding of the application’s impact on students’ learning engagement. The findings indicate that the use of Solar System Scope not only increases students’ active participation in discussions and learning activities but also offers an attractive and easily understood 3D visualization of the solar system. Additionally, the application successfully stimulates curiosity, collaborative spirit, and students' learning interest significantly. In the long term, this application has the potential to be used independently by sixth-grade students outside class hours as a form of sustainable, technology-based learning.
