Penerapan Model Pembelajaran Kooperatif Tipe STAD untuk Meningkatkan Hasil Belajar Siswa pada Materi Sistem Eksresi di Kelas XI IPA-2 MA Al Hidayah

Penelitian ini didasarkan pada rendahnya hasil belajar siswa yang disebabkan oleh penggunaan metode konvensional yang kurang melibatkan partisipasi aktif peserta didik dan Kecenderungan siswa untuk memilih teman berdasarkan tingkat kemampuan akademis sehingga terjadi perbedaan dalam interaksi belajar. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa pada materi sistem ekskresi melalui penerapan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Student Teams Achievement Division (STAD) di kelas XI IPA-2 MA Al Hidayah. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) dalam dua siklus, masing-masing terdiri dari tahap perencanaan, pelaksanaan, observasi, dan refleksi. Subjek penelitian siswa kelas XI IPA 2. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan peningkatan signifikan dalam ketuntasan belajar klasikal, yaitu dari 34,7% pada pra-siklus menjadi 57,7% di siklus I dan meningkat lagi menjadi 88,5% pada siklus II. Selain itu, partisipasi siswa juga mengalami peningkatan dari 50% menjadi 90% setelah penerapan STAD. Model ini terbukti efektif dalam mendorong interaksi antar siswa, memperkuat pemahaman konsep melalui diskusi kelompok, serta meningkatkan tanggung jawab individu dalam belajar. Dengan demikian, model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe STAD direkomendasikan sebagai alternatif inovatif dalam pembelajaran Biologi, khususnya untuk materi yang bersifat kompleks.
