Perancangan Jaringan dengan Menerapkan Protokol Routing Dinamis Open Shortest Path First (OSPF) Berbasis Cisco Packet Tracer

Di zaman digital sekarang ini, tuntutan akan jaringan komputer yang handal, efektif, dan mudah beradaptasi menjadi semakin krusial, terutama di lingkungan pendidikan yang bergantung pada koneksi yang stabil. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk merancang suatu jaringan komputer yang memanfaatkan protokol routing dinamis Open Shortest Path First (OSPF) sebagai solusi untuk meningkatkan efisiensi dalam pengaturan rute dan kinerja jaringan itu sendiri. Pendekatan yang digunakan melibatkan simulasi perancangan jaringan dengan bantuan perangkat lunak Cisco Packet Tracer. Protokol OSPF dipilih karena kemampuannya untuk menciptakan jalur tercepat menggunakan algoritma Dijkstra, serta mendukung skalabilitas dan adaptasi otomatis terhadap perubahan dalam topologi jaringan. Hasil dari desain ini memperlihatkan bahwa implementasi OSPF mampu meningkatkan keandalan jaringan melalui distribusi rute yang lebih baik dan juga mempercepat proses konvergensi. Penelitian ini diharapkan dapat menjadi pedoman dalam pengembangan sistem jaringan di institusi yang memerlukan manajemen jaringan dengan skala menengah hingga besar yang dapat memberikan performa optimal.
