The increase in the number of passengers at Morowali Airport in recent years is not comparable to the available passenger terminal capacity. This condition has the potential to cause congestion, reduce service quality, and make the terminal less than ideal in meeting the needs of service users. This study aims to evaluate the capacity of the passenger terminal of Morowali Airport against the current number of passengers, forecast the number of air transport passengers for the next five years, and calculate the passenger terminal area requirements in 2029. The study uses a quantitative approach. The results of the analysis show that the level of service (Level of Service) of the passenger terminal of Morowali Airport is 65%, which is categorized as sub-optimal, so that the terminal capacity is no longer adequate and requires expansion. Forecasting the number of passengers is carried out using the causal method through multiple linear regression analysis, with independent variables including Gross Regional Domestic Product (GRDP), population, and number of tourists. The forecast results estimate the number of passengers in 2029 to reach 324,275 passengers, with peak time passengers (PWS) of 422 passengers. Based on these results, the passenger terminal area required until 2029 is 5,958 m².
