Penelitian ini dilatar belakangi oleh rendahnya kemampuan berpikir kreatif matematis siswa kelas IV di SDN 9 Mataram. Salah satu solusi yang dapat dilakukan untuk mengatasi permasalahan tersebut adalah dengan menerapkan model project based learning berbantuan media tangram. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui adakah pengaruh model project based learning berbantuan media tangram terhadap kemampuan berpikir kreatif matematis siswa kelas IV di SDN 9 Mataram. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan jenis penelitian eksperiemen semu dengan desain nonequivalent control grup desain. Sampel penelitian berjumlah 50 siswa yang terdiri dari 25 siswa kelas eksperimen dan 25 siswa kelas kontrol. Instrumen pengumpulan data menggunakan tes tertulis dalam bentuk essay. Adapuan teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui tes dan dokumentasi. Analisis data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan statistik deskriptif dan uji prasyarat yang meliputi uji normalitas, uji homogenitas, uji hipotesis. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa berdasarkan perhitungan uji independent sampel t-test menggunakan aplikasi SPSS versi 25 diperoleh nilai signifikasi (2-tailed) sebesar 0,00 yang artinya < 0,05 sehingga Ho ditolak Ha diterima. Dengan demikian, dapat disimpulkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh model project based learning berbantuan media tangram terhadap kemampuan berpikir kreatif matematis siswa kelas IV di SDN 9 Mataram.
