Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh rendahnya kemampuan menyimak siswa kelas IV di SDN 1 Sangkawana. Salah satu solusi untuk mengatasi permasalahan tersebut adalah dengan menerapkan metode storytelling interaktif berbasis podcast. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui keefektivan metode tersebut terhadap kemampuan menyimak siswa. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif jenis quasi-eksperimen dengan desain Nonequivalent Control Group Design. Sampel penelitian berjumlah 47 siswa yang terdiri dari kelas eksperimen (IVB) sebanyak 23 siswa dan kelas kontrol (IVA) sebanyak 24 siswa. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa nilai rata-rata pretest kelas eksperimen sebesar 52,83 meningkat menjadi 73,48 pada posttest, sementara kelas kontrol hanya mengalami peningkatan dari 53,96 menjadi 55,63. Hasil uji hipotesis menggunakan independent sample t-test dengan SPSS 26 diperoleh nilai signifikansi (2-tailed) sebesar 0,000 (< 0,05), sehingga H₀ ditolak dan Hₐ diterima. Dengan demikian, dapat disimpulkan bahwa metode storytelling interaktif berbasis podcast berpengaruh secara signifikan terhadap peningkatan kemampuan menyimak siswa kelas IV di SDN 1 Sangkawana Tahun Pelajaran 2025/2026. Implikasi dari penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa metode storytelling interaktif berbasis podcast dapat dijadikan sebagai alternatif strategi pembelajaran yang efektif bagi guru untuk meningkatkan keterampilan menyimak siswa, serta menjadi acuan bagi sekolah dalam mengembangkan pembelajaran berbasis media audio yang inovatif dan kontekstual.
