Elementary school students' motivation to learn mathematics is often hindered by conventional, teacher-centered instruction that makes limited use of digital technology. This study aims to determine the effect of the Quizizz learning medium on the mathematics learning motivation of fifth-grade students at SDN 2 Rakam. A quantitative approach with a Pre-Experimental One Group Pretest-Posttest design was employed, involving 20 students selected through saturated sampling. Data were collected using a Likert-scale motivation questionnaire validated through Pearson Product Moment correlation, yielding 17 of 18 valid items (r-count greater than r-table 0.444), with a Cronbach's Alpha reliability coefficient of 0.944, indicating very high reliability. The Shapiro-Wilk normality test confirmed that both Pretest (Sig. = 0.060) and Posttest (Sig. = 0.217) data were normally distributed. The Paired Sample t-Test revealed an increase in mean motivation scores from 62.45 (Pretest) to 74.20 (Posttest), with t = 5.868 (df = 19, p < .001), leading to the rejection of H0 and acceptance of Ha. The Cohen's d effect size was 1.31, categorized as large. Mathematics learning motivation scores were higher after the use of Quizizz compared to before its use. As this study employed a one-group design without a control group, these findings should be interpreted as preliminary evidence rather than as establishing a causal relationship. The study recommends Quizizz as an interactive, gamification-based learning medium alternative for elementary education.
