Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh terbatasnya penggunaan media pembelajaran pada mata pelajaran IPAS, khususnya materi bentang alam daerahku di kelas IV SDN 5 Mataram. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengembangkan media pembelajaran Mystery Box yang valid dan praktis untuk digunakan dalam pembelajaran IPAS. Metode yang digunakan adalah Research and Development (R&D) dengan model ADDIE (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation). Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan wawancara, observasi, dan angket. Analisis data dilakukan melalui validasi kelayakan oleh ahli media dan materi, uji kepraktisan melalui respon guru dan peserta didik. Hasil validasi ahli materi menujukkan persentase sebesar 95% dengan kriteria sangat valid, sedangkan hasil validasi ahli media memperoleh persentase sebesar 97% dengan kriteria sangat layak. Sementara itu, hasil uji kepraktisan melalui angket respon guru memperoleh persentase sebesar 93%, uji coba kelompok kecil memperoleh 89%, dan uji coba kelompok besar memperoleh 87%, yang keseluruhannya berada pada kriteria sangat praktis. Berdasarkan hasil tersebut, dapat disimpulkan bahwa media pembelajaran Mystery Box valid dan praktis digunakan sebagai media pembelajaran IPAS materi bentang alam daerahku di kelas IV sekolah dasar.
